Very good! Congratulations.
ОтветитьDoesn't matter what others think, it's your design If works for your needs. Sometimes simple is best. Would it help to wax the 2X4, for a better glide.
ОтветитьWould there possibly be plans or measurements to make this jig? Where would I find them I I don't?
ОтветитьLove the open invitation to give you advise! Im going to use that line now. Great idea for a quick mill
Ответитьthe best
ОтветитьGreat video, building the jig this next week, many thanks.
ОтветитьHSS = HIGH SPEED STEEL BIT
for drilling through metal. FYI. Thanks for the video, good stuff. 👍
you should cut a slot along the edge of the 2x4 and screw another piece of plywood so it holds the jig from dropping from gravity
ОтветитьThis is genius!! thank you!!!
ОтветитьNo need for the self deprecation. Latex paint on the board ends.
ОтветитьSo around the 8-9min mark after sanding couldn't you add the graphite and rub it in to help it slide?
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьBandsaws work well but the blade should be RIP and no more than 5 TPI. Then, you're off to the races.
ОтветитьWhich type of chain will give a clean cut?
ОтветитьHello from France thanks for the tutorial 😁🙏🏼
ОтветитьSimple Affordable and Worked Thanks!!!
ОтветитьNice one sir
ОтветитьHey I just made one of these and cut up about $500.00 worth of lumber from a couple of fallen trees in my back yard and it worked AMAZING for what it is. I did find that Butcher/Bowling Alley wax on top of the runner makes sliding easier and smoother. Thank you
ОтветитьYou can make boards without a guide you just need a wide bar and a chain sharpened at a shallower angle.
ОтветитьYou had me at the intro. Subbed.

ОтветитьQue buena Ideas muy buena solo si fuera en español porfa saludos bendiones desde Panamá Ronis Sánchez
ОтветитьLoved it... very smart
Ответить... Sarcasm. Lol
ОтветитьOnly idea is for the person to STAND on the opposite side of the piece being cut. In case it drops ur legs n u r safe.
ОтветитьVery good idea from india
ОтветитьAwesome.simple and effective
ОтветитьSüper❤
ОтветитьAwesome video Great work !
ОтветитьRub some wax on it so it slides easier
ОтветитьNice idea for beginners, I wonder how those people freehand the huge logs with huge chainsaws so nicely!
ОтветитьLove this.. thanks for sharing your experience.. I am gonna build one of my own
ОтветитьIf you dont want to make your own guide, you can buy one for pretty cheap, $30-$80 depending on quality. I got some American made brand, lumber jack portable chainsaw mill, something like that. Works good.
ОтветитьHello dear
Good word
Can we talk more
Very work!
ОтветитьBang the bark of the entire log with a sledgehammer. Cut into its depth and you should be able to peal it off in somewhat large complete pieces.
ОтветитьSiemanko, bezes 😂😂😂SUPER
ОтветитьYou need to give yourself some more credit😄.
ОтветитьNice job! Cool video!
ОтветитьYres pratique !mrrci!!!!!!
ОтветитьOh Man! This tutorial video is so helpful! Well done! I have a question for all of you guys here, I got stihl ms241t what is maximum bar I can upgrade to?
ОтветитьHonest Question: Why do you want to preserve the moisture in the logs? I'm forever waiting on them to dry.
Ответитьtake my advice, don't take advice from people on the internet
ОтветитьSolution for the clamp issue: build a removable, wider base for your rail using 1/2" plywood. Clamp that, not the rail. Lose a little depth, but that' okay.
