Great intro to a great song - the Blossom concerts were exceptional events - he and his band mates had a gift for writing and performing the love ballads with those riffs. I remember these shows like it was last week - bitter sweet memories - those first five albums were so good !!

ОтветитьI had the pleasure of seeing MSB at the Agora, Blossom and the Coliseum about 15 times. Always left those venues pumped up because of their energy and love of NEO!

ОтветитьOn June, 18, 1978, MSB along with Breathless, Salem-Witchcraft, Chris Michaels Band, Pegasus, & Jim Ballard played Ohio Music Appreciation Day at Chippewa Lake in Medina, OH. That was the show that Steven Hicks, Jeffery Dahmer’s first victim was hitchhiking to when Dahmer picked him up.

ОтветитьMichael Stanley Band was huge in Cleveland and St Louis in those days. I lived in both and loved them in both. Love you WMMS and KSHE. Thanks for playing the real music. Love to all
ОтветитьIn our tribute band to Michael Stanley I’ve had the privilege of playing with Danny Powers and Gary Markasky two wild men on the guitar, In the picture to the left that’s myself and Gary Markasky as of today I believe he’s 71 we played the palace theater in Canton Ohio and he still has his original white guitar

ОтветитьI worked at Blossom as a college kid in 82 and 83. Saw all of MSB's sold out shows there. Still love this music 40 years later.
ОтветитьI used to have this album as a young teen. My mom used to dislike tue music I listened to but she loved, "All I ever wanted ". I think back and remember her in sadness

ОтветитьNo band better represented Cleveland and Northeast Ohio more so than the M.S.B...I don't think this band received their due they deserved for what they brought to Rock & Roll..allot of people around the nation never heard of them..I loved the music of the MSB..RIP Mr Stanley..This bands contribution to Rock & Roll deserved so much more than what they received..MSB to me is why Cleveland is as it should be considered the capitol of Rock & Roll music..M.S.B forever

I got turned on to this group when I was in college, from 80-84. What a great group.
Saw MSB open up for Styx 1978 at The Cape Cod Colliseum in Mass. I was very impressed !
