page states "Panel Lifespan: 400 Hours on average (normally varies from 200-800 hours) and is a consumable. ". what is cost of replacement panel and is it available ?
ОтветитьCould you make a list with all the equipment you should have to finish a piece after printing? Which dryer do you suggest? Which ultrasonic device to clean the part and etc? Everything we really have to have to make beautiful, quality prints.
Ответитьis this can use any type of resin or specific resin ?
ОтветитьIf you want to make your Phenom a little bit more quiet, the easiest way is to change the Fans in both sides. Originally there are low cost 24V fans build in, and under the LED lamps inside either. Changing the inside fans is just for DIY-people with electrical expirience, the fans at the sides is quite easy. I used this fans to get it „quiet“ : Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-24V-3000 Q100 IP67 PWM
These are 24 Volts fans by Noctua. They run at 3000 1/min, produce a pressure about 7,63 mm H₂O and 187m3/h airflow. A very powerful fan and really quite.( 43,5 dB(A)) The price is not really funny, about 30€ each. But getting the Phenom a little bit quite is it worth to pay for...🤗
Additional information to WiFi. The printer has LAN, but no WiFi. There‘s an option in the firmware, but it‘s not supported by the board. I‘ve read this on the Poepoly FAQ and community posts. The LAN funktion is only used to send printer files to the printer, nothing else. I think, the normal handle is using an USB-stick.
ОтветитьAwesome video! This is quite expensive?
ОтветитьGood job with the presentation and including that lithophane of your cute little girl was a nice touch.
ОтветитьGreat video!
You showed a few examples of prints for medical application using the deft resin. Do you know anything about the bio-compatibility of the resin?
I got one and there was a bad cable inside the machine. Three weeks later the LCD panel broke and cost me $200 to replace. DO not get this. It is poorly made.
ОтветитьI would go through so much resin on that thing.
ОтветитьSo how do I cure it?
ОтветитьThanks for this video!
Do you remember the print times for each item?
(at least the scapula)?
And how long is shipping
ОтветитьDoes the resin bin over flow when you print
ОтветитьCreality : Oh , a giant resin printer. Lets make bigger one and sell it for 200$
ОтветитьI'm currently deciding whether to buy the Phenom, or just go Gusto and purchase the Phenom L. Anybody using this machine? How well does it do flexible clear parts.. Say I wanted to print off some Clear Gummy Worms to make fishing tackle in an specific order. I'm trying to find a decent machine to really get into my own designs and prototypes. I have the cash but I won't go over $5000. And my brother has a lot of friends who want 3d printed stuff so right there I have a sustainable market to make stuff for. So is this my machine? It looks pretty idiot proof. Your thoughts.
ОтветитьViscous means the opposite of the way you used it.
Ответитьvery nice explaning to a newbie
ОтветитьToday I've watched several videos on the 'Phenom' and I've been quite impressed! One thing I haven't heard is if you can successfully use 'Third Party' resins with this printer. Any information would be appreciated.
ОтветитьGreat! And thank you. But can I use other brands resin?
Ответитьwhats your printer settings?
Ответитьwhat were your settings in Chi Tu Box? did you only have to slice using it? I'm told that you still have to run the .stl through Asura for final slicing and Im not sure if that's true.
ОтветитьDisappointing. Though what you did show was well explained, I was looking forward to seeing a print take place.. even better if it had an explanation on how it works, especially VS Filament prints.
Probably my fault, based on the title of the video.
I'm wanting to get into resin printing and looking at a couple different printers. But apon reading up a bit I see and you also mentioned that you also have a separate curing machine, are they needed or is the curing during the build process typically enough?
ОтветитьI have this machine and hope to be able to model create reliable models as you have done.
Please can you confirm the initial default settings so that I may use a proven set up.
My machine was delivered with a variety of adhesive tapes on the bottom sheet metal work and a thin skin over the LCD. Is that the condition of the machine you received, or should it be removed.
Excellent review thank you
Ответитьso how did you end up cleaning the resin off, with ipa in a big enough tub?
Ответитьhow about the resolution of the print..it seems that you can see the lines of the print dose not seems to keep to many details... ?
ОтветитьWe would need one for human skulls in real life size. How about the cavitys and removin all building structures?
ОтветитьI wonder when a wide band without that height for those who need to make several small pieces in large quantities.
ОтветитьSo how do you cure and wash such a big item??
ОтветитьIs it actually possible to print with 100 microns on a Phenom?
ОтветитьMan I wish this guy could speak American English.
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on the EPAX X10 vs the Phenom?
ОтветитьHi there, what is your experience with the LCD screen lifespan? How many print hrs are you in?
Ответитьlow resolution for 2200$ need to be sanding
ОтветитьMy biggest question about resin 3D printing... How are you supposed to dispose of the potential harmful chemicals used to print afterwards?
ОтветитьIt's pretty pricey, that's for sure. Credit to them for not skimping on the LCD resolution. I believe the large Elegoo uses a 2K screen IIRC.
BTW, you got the meaning of viscous backwards. 😉
Good video. Can you use a spray bottle to hose down the print with 99% ipa? Makes more sense than getting five to ten gallons right now.
ОтветитьThanks for posting this and I'm really considering getting one from you guys once quarantine is over. Leveling this looks so much easier than a fdm printer. I still have issues with the nozzle hitting the print over, etc with FDM. Is a resin printer a bit easier to use in comparison because it looks like it from this vid (I'm aware of all the cleanup that has to be done)?
ОтветитьI left my resin for weeks in my photon. No problems a all .
ОтветитьNice thanks for the review. Looks awesome but yeah that has to be a really big alcohol bath, and really big sonic cleaner, and a lot of resin to use that thing. It’s getting harder to find alcohol and nitrile gloves right now too with all this Covid stuff.
ОтветитьCome on printer makers, make one with a square bed!
Ответитьdid you test the prints for temperature stability and chemical resistance
(i use 3d printing for car parts, so they must withstand at least 80°C and it would be nice if they can resist cleaners)
regards
Phil
The UI is basically a reskinned version of the UI off the Elegoo Mars, and what is up with that leveling procedure lol, some light springs in all four corners pushing down on the print head would have been a much simpler and more consistent way to level it against the fep film
ОтветитьWhen it will be release please ?
ОтветитьChitubox is NOT Open Source!
ОтветитьInvite to Canadian 3D Printing Association on FB . A more adult group focussed on design and problem solving related to 3D printing.
ОтветитьThey really should have 2 litter bottles for the resin, seems like you're going to be chewing through it pretty fast.
Ответить
