ОтветитьHBAO+ looks quite unnatural (maybe becaues the intensity is cranked up too high?). Gotta see if SSAO prevents those dark halos around legs - that was an issue with earlier implementations.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if the dx12 ssao is used in the ps5 quality mode? Digital foundry mentioned ray traced shadows turns this on on pc, but I wasn’t sure if he meant rtao, or rt shadows or what. It seems like they could add this by itself on consoles? Maybe? without raytraced shadows I mean.

ОтветитьIs it just me or did the x12 have a noticeable lag in animation it seems more stuttery and slow than in the dx11 mod which feels like full 60fps

ОтветитьI really don't understand why they downgraded the game?! I mean with RTX on, it really makes no difference because everything looks fantastic with RTX, but the majority of players don't even own a RTX card. It seems like they downgraded certain aspects of the game to force people to buy RTX cards.

ОтветитьThank you for this comparison. While in grass and trees they look similar, there are scenes like the one at the nilfgaardian camp that SSAO stops working. HBAO+ is more accurate, SSAO is as good when it works but when it fails, it fails spectacularly.
ОтветитьI played dx12 only because there are hidden settings, for example, grass has shadows, unlike dx11, but now I don't need dx12 because it takes a lot of fps. .Thanks for the work
