“The most dangerous move in pro wrestling”
To “one of the most infamous moves in pro wrestling”
Which is it? Also, UW wrestled for WWF not WWE.
Kids. I swear.
The true Last Ride
Undertaker will envy
Who would’ve guessed it was Japanese? That country ruined pro wrestling. They always get it horribly wrong
ОтветитьSort of reminds me of Kevin Nash dropping Giant that one time in WCW
Great video!
That is a dangerous move or finisher with blood rushing to the head like that as well but In my opinion.. the sleeper hold can be also dangerous only If done in ring unprofessional with bad intentions. The law enforcement & military even martial arts have used it known as a choke hold.
ОтветитьIt’s kinda similar to the tombstone except the grabbed person is facing the other way, and it’s piledrived head first with no cushion. The move is insanely dangerous due to a high risk of cerebrospinal compression.
Tombstone has at least some cushioning in the form of the thighs of the executing party.
Didn't rick rude do this to ultimate warrior?
ОтветитьThats The Real Neckbreaker
ОтветитьI love the line "accused of originating"
ОтветитьThis is probably THE best example of how wrestlers walk a very, very thin line every single night they wrestle. This could have just as easily gone horribly wrong. Honestly, the odds were probably better that it would go wrong.
ОтветитьYou call it the Ganso Bomb, I kill it aggravated attempted murder. To each their own I suppose
ОтветитьThis needs to be in the current generation of wrestling games.
ОтветитьAre you related to Adam Sandler?
ОтветитьLol Brody "burger" King calls his pile driver a Ganso bomb, n sr i dont like it
Ответитьsteve austin didn't take a gonzo bomb dumbass.
ОтветитьThe DDT was created accidentally 2
ОтветитьI can’t even finish this video. I am 43 and have lived with neck pain since I broke it wrestling,
I got tombstones in my front yard wrestling w/ a friend a 6 years old.
Very impressive production and skills as a video essay presenter. I can see you fighting out of f this early mid car position & becoming a top level superstar on yt.
Your Writing Sucks and Proves You're NOT Very Smart. But... Did You REALLY Just Describe a Move After Showing It? You Played The Clip Of The Move and Then Tried Describing It? MOVE ON! YOU'RE WASTING TIME AND WORDS! LOL!
ОтветитьSo it's basically like a Tombstone Piledriver... if it was real
ОтветитьThe irony is unbelievable. Wrestling is fixed, yet they are really hurting each other to impress Meltzer and the Marks.
ОтветитьRick Rude did it to Warrior back in 1990
ОтветитьYep, this is and will ever be the most dangerous move in wrestling history
I'm an indie wrestler myself and the first finisher I ever received was a classic Piledriver, which is a dangerous move but HOLY SHIT!!! Kawada Driver is on a whole other level
Collin, great work! I love your videos for this depth, research, and defined context while also making this all informative for a novice fan of Japanese wrestling. I host and produce content for Sportskeeda Wrestling, and can say you have carved out your own voice and perspective that fans need to check out.
ОтветитьI feel like I’d be really mad if I were misawa lol
ОтветитьStupid. I was a working professional wrestler for 18 years, and I wouldn't ever think of attempting this botch move, is what it really is. Stupid is what i call it. And if any other worker tried this on me? Or called it? Id go into business for myself. Your not getting me up for that.
ОтветитьI like oldschool Japanese wrestling as much as the next guy, but this is just unprofessional in my opinion. Wrestling is till a work, while wrestlers should be tough enough to protect themselves if needed, believing your own hype and thinking you are actually in a real fight makes you dangerous. There should be no spot for this in the sport
ОтветитьI dont consider this a move. It's a botched powerbomb. Giving it a name is just stupid and it's bad for wrestling.
ОтветитьWWE is right in banning even the pile driver let alone this move which is even more dangerous. The wrestler's health is paramount.
ОтветитьThis scarily looked like the botched Powerbomb of Brock Lesnar to Hardcore Holly
ОтветитьWhat is Ganso Bomb?? Never heard of it. No Japanese calls it so. Very strange name. We call it a Variant Power Bomb.
ОтветитьRick Rude hit this move on Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam August 1989, a full 10 years before Kawada hit it.
ОтветитьIt’s not a move.. it’s a common botch.
Stop talking about this like it’s a purposeful wrestling move. It’s not. Stop marking out for your own content.
I just watched the whole January 22, 1999. Holy smokes, what a match. How Kawada continued after breaking his hand blows my mind!
ОтветитьIm not sure if a botch that attributed to a mans death is a actual move
ОтветитьAJ Styles' hollow point is a move, Brody King's gonzo bomb is a move, this shit just dropping someone on their head and not protecting them at all, it's sloppiness. I don't get why people glaze old Japanese wrestling so hard
ОтветитьNo cap I always thought Brodie King’s move was called the Garbanzo Bomb lol
ОтветитьOf course Misawa is the first one to take it
ОтветитьIn Japanese pro wrestling there is no such thing as a botch😅
Ответитьganso botched bomb
My older brother accidentally did this to me on the couch when we were little. He thought he killed me, and I wanted him to do it again, lol.
We called it the Powerdriver.
This move should have only been used once.
ОтветитьThis was well done. Think it might have been the second of yours suggested to me. Im on board 👍
ОтветитьI am so glad you point out there's king's road style. a lot of people nowadays think strong style applies to EVERY single japanese pro wrestler/wrestling matches, and that's just simply not true.
Ответить"Abunai desu ne!"
ОтветитьThis is one of the dumbest moves that Misawa took and that is saying something.
ОтветитьThe Ganso Bomb is the perfect definition of a move. That you ABSOLUTELY do not use. Unless you’re an experienced veteran and have the complete trust of your opponent.
ОтветитьImagine the ganso bomb, but the user places their legs in front of the arms of the person getting hit by it. Sorta like the styles clash. And now imagine the user running and leaping as high as possible before landing on their knees. If you wanted to name this actual murder attempt of a move, you could call it "too real".
ОтветитьBurning hammer enters the chat
