I have pet and ferals, 26 of them. Tommy is correct in his behavior, it's his territory. What people fail to understand is that that ginger probably doesnt come alone. A female brings more strange cats and kittens, a male brings multiple brawls, injuries and fighting for resources. My inside cats only allow ferals in if its raining, theyre old, or they're injured. If they're sick..they're violently chased away. Luckily everyone is neutered or spayed.
ОтветитьLook at all of that awesome stone work.
Tam's other half
"Now you know" 💫
ОтветитьThat was impressive.
ОтветитьThe orange cat asked for food
Ответить"Pay rent"
"What is rent?"
"Chicken"
It looked like normal cat behavior to me.
Ответить* Seems more like Orange is trying to get Tommy to go with him/her. Almost like Orange has something to show Tommy outside. If he ever follows, let us know where they go. Probably, to Oranges house.
ОтветитьIn cat world this qualifies a major crisis.
ОтветитьTommy has envy!
ОтветитьMr Orange you are so adorable and really want Tommy as your friend. Hope it happens. Love you both my cutie pies.💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺
Ответить🐈⬛Orange can jump at lightening speed so quick/so high, cats have very good judgement for heights., my past cat Missy used to go up on my house roof but always managed to get down ok🐈⬛
ОтветитьTommy needs to learn some social skills.
Ответить"Cats can be mean"
Unnn... to be blunt, NO SHIT. I've seen mean cats. 🤣🤣
What country is this? It's definitely not the United States.
ОтветитьSo-called "experts" like to say that cats only meow at their owners but not to each other, not sure why they are considered "experts." They're the same ones that also push he slow-blink nonsense. It's too bad licensed vets are not much better.
ОтветитьStone houses - that's adorable! Love it!
ОтветитьTommy is so wonderfully communicative! His expressions and vocalizations are adorable and immediately recognizable, love him.
ОтветитьOur big cat, over 10 kilos, regularly jumps four feet straight up from a balcony to a hole in the roof (a cleverly designed water spout). The hole is only just big enough for his body.
I have witnessed it a few times. I think I have had to carry him down every time.
Happened this morning. Thankfully it was not raining today, as it was last time.
Cat politics is difficult. We first met our cats when their mother, normally resident next door, brought them to live on our back porch as kittens.
After her own first litter the small female, the runt, moved in with us. It was about a year after the death of our own orange cat and we were not yet ready for another but accepted her as a refugee. We got her spayed and also had her hernia, there from birth, repaired.
Some time later her brother decided to move in too. They are sometimes kind to each other but she resents the intrusion into her space and they are still rivals seven years on.
They vie for top spot on our bed or on laps in the living room.
Then a couple years back now the other sister moved in. After a while we saw she was pregnant. Neither of her siblings wanted her present in the house but accepted our decision to care for her.
She hunted for suitable nests but eventually gave birth to the first kitten right on top of me in bed then carried it to my wardrobe where she dropped four more.
After a couple days I let the neighbour take them home but over half a day she brought them all back and hid them in the secret nest I had built while she was pregnant. I didn't know she even knew about it.
We eventually took her back next door to the relief of her siblings and the neighbours moved away, taking her with them.
I had whisked her away to be spayed as soon as the kittens were weaned. I had warned them I would do this but kept shtum at the time.
The neighbours, renters, left a bunch of other cats behind when they moved, including their favourite, a nephew of our cats from another of the sister's estimated five litters. I used to feed him occasionally when he visited. He pops by now every six months or so.
One I took to be the father of all kittens was also a regular visitor, but I took him to the SPCA when I found him under the house tailless and starving. They said he could be brought back to health but that I would never see him again, as their policy dictated.
It was only when the stray son next visited that I realised it was the older one, his father, that was unwell. They were different ages and different life experiences but otherwise identical. Up until then I thought the father was long gone.
Another regular visitor finally disappeared and we heard ours had ganged up on up him and shooed him away or even killed him.
Cats will be cats.
they should be in house to get used to each other poor orange cat needs some loving and ❤care😮feels left out😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGlad you've catalogued it !
ОтветитьI love Tommy.. and I love Orange, he's so sweet and just keeps trying to be Tommy's friend even as Tommy threatens to call the lawyer.. 😻
ОтветитьThat orange kitty is sweet.
ОтветитьOrange is reading Tommy very well. He senses that Tommy's warnings are from uncertainty, and not true aggression. He keeps the gentle meow going to let Tommy know he's asking permission, and is no threat. He sees Tommy's interest. This was so interesting. Tommy is a love, after all, and Orange is a sweet boy. I'd bet in time they'd be friends. ❤❤
ОтветитьThat cat is making classic aggressive sounds and body language. Cats go as high as possible when frightened. Too bad their humans think things are humorous. That little cat is intimidated.
ОтветитьGod I've missed your posts, Tom's valet. Thank you.
ОтветитьThose two do not get along at all. My cat used to go on our roof all the time. I feel bad for Orange.
ОтветитьCAT. lawyer???!!!. I. Need 4...
ОтветитьStray and Feral cats know the outdoors well and how to navigate it.
ОтветитьThe athleticism of cats is insane -- Orange's jump to the roof was pretty spectacular, and the jump down was just as impressive. There's another cat channel about a cat called Ros, and he wears a tiny video recorder while he walks, tite-rope style, at the edge of a building with a good 10-12m drop, or about 33 to 36 feet. Cat's are just incredible athletes.
Ответитьindeed, there are neighborhood cats that would not be content to stay housebound. they have regular places that they visit every day.
ОтветитьJust got gifted rescue named spooky. She she says, hello😳💯👍
ОтветитьParkour
ОтветитьThis is normal behaviour. Tommy defends his home. Our cats throughout the years did this too by most cats, but somethimes they invited a friend. Thát was special!
ОтветитьCat Parkour 😂
ОтветитьAdopt orange plzz
Ответитьlovely taje care of all cats
ОтветитьOrange has balls literally, we saw them, Tommy has no balls. In the human world castrated men were not considered as much a threat yet stronger than women so they served a purpose in the Kingdom. Cats are very territorial & Orange controls that territory but Tommy he knows is no threat to him, Tommy can hiss & fuss all he wants Orange will be back because Orange needs to remind Tommy & his human their proper place within Oranges high society.
ОтветитьTommy is being territorial with Orange, who does not live with Tommy. Plus, Tommy is alpha, Orange is Beta. Awww, poor cutie Orange!
ОтветитьNot a lot of context for this video.
Ответитьhard core parkour
ОтветитьMy cat do this every day she hangs up on the roof of the house. Truthfully I have seen my cat fly.
ОтветитьPay rent then❤
ОтветитьBully cat❤
ОтветитьWOW❤
ОтветитьOh my goodness.I cannot believe my eyes, but I see it Your cat is something else A true ecrobat and they are both absolutely adorable.I love the post
ОтветитьIMPORTANT: Many comments saying i should adopt Orange. I would but i can't. His an outdoor cat kinda owned by the neighbor. Maybe in the future i'll talk to her, but it's complicated
