ОтветитьWTF??!! 10 out of 10 for effort and 0 out of 10 for the explanation
ОтветитьPlease do not make anymore instructional videos.. This is more confusing than it is helpful

Ответитьone of my imovie libraries has disappeared
ОтветитьMaybe this will help:
1. Completely close Photos
2. Press "option" key and then double click on Photos app again to open
3. This will open the "choose library" dialogue
4. Create new library
5. This library will be empty. Click on Preferences and choose "use as system photo library" (click ok when asked about icloud...)
6. Completely close photos again
7. Press "option" key and then double click on Photos app again to open
8. Select your original library
9. Click on Preferences and choose "use as system photo library" (click ok when asked about icloud...)
10. Restart iMovie, and then your files should be accessible again
Alternatively (or in addition)
a) Open Finder
b) Select <Go> from the menu bar
c) Hold down the <Option> key on your keyboard - the "Library" option will appear on the drop down menu
d) Select <Library>
e) Then select the <Caches> folder. Delete all files in the <Caches> folder (not the folder itself).
f) Then select the <Saved application state> folder. Delete all files in the <Saved Application State> folder.
g) restart imovie
Can someone explain this to me
ОтветитьCan someone please explain this better to me? I don't get what he's saying or doing.
ОтветитьIt worked! My iPhoto popped up in iMovie after I set the preference back to the original library and deleted the new one
ОтветитьSaturday April 21st 2018. There is a solution.
I worked with Apple Care with this issue of photos that are not populating on our iMovie timeline.
Some of our photos are beyond 15” in Width. There’s a solution, until Apple can fix this issue.
In iPhoto, select groups of photos that will not populate in iMovie, and drag them to the DeskTop.
On your DeskTop, make sure that they are all still selected, then open them (they should open in Preview).
In Preview, again, make sure they are all still selected.
In Preview:
-Tools
-Adjust Size
-Only in Width, make it 15
-Okay button, then allow it to complete your entire selection.
In iMovie:
-Import (the down arrow button)
-select DeskTop (organize by Content Created, so that they all are at the top of the list)
-select them all
-then select the Import All button.
Now, when you place they on your iMovie TimeLine, they should populate.
This video is confusing. Not very detailed.
Ответитьworked for me! i moved my library to an external hard drive then imovie wouldnt find my photos. this solved the problem
ОтветитьThanks, but i wasn't able to make it work. I was able to create the new photo library, set is as the "system photo library", then open the old one set that one as "system photo library". Then deleted the new library. It still didn't make my photo library appear in iMovie.
Ответитьhow do I open my old library, I created a new one but can't open my old one
