Little young American boys, constantly, obsessively talking about " big communist buildings, big communist street,.. etc". 😂Not only that you were born after communism was done& gone, but what do you know about communism really? Just what you heard from the East European immigrants who cried & criticized everyone & everything achieved in the communist era , just to obtain advantages and easy acceptance in West! Anyone will be proud with the " biggest administrativ building & heaviest" in the world, YES, PROUD! The " longest communist street", rivals the French Champ -Elysee, , the fountains are the biggest in Europe, yes(!), as Romanians, we love and we are proud with them all. If you have a problem with it, you are not invited here, that's so simple!

Is it worth visiting early December for 7 days ? Is there a lot to see? Previous day was Rome

You can go into the parliament building… the modern art museum is also housed there. There aren’t as many flags that you see … it was probably around a national day 😅

Romanian is not more different than Italian then.. French is or any other tow between them. Is an lod languege that has manteined it's Latin origin for more then75% ot it's vocabulary

Brașov and Bucharest are different, but they are and we're historically the same country, only separated for a part of the history

I have been in many capital cities across Europe and the worst of all was Bucharest. Romanians don’t speak English and most of them are rude. Traffic is awful, horn sounds everywhere. Public transport is very insufficient. Market and food prices are higher than many EU countries. Too many homeless people around old town. Rich people are very rich, living in rich neighbourhood which has European and American names weirdly. Poor people are skin and bones. Very corrupted country. Now I understand why Andrew Tate lives in Romania and many Romanians immigrate

These guys look like a pair of dorks. I'm English but I speak Romanian and six other languages. I'd rather read a book about Bucharest than listen to these twats drivel on. They're so bland and their breadth of knowledge so superficial.

As a russian I never been in this country, but my friends told me is a very poor place and full with gypsies and beggers! I know mostly romanians or roma live in tents! but not sure, never been! the capital's streets buildings look exactly like some outskirts old russian buildings! haha thats something!

I have so many places I would like to visit and learn about in this global community we share. Because I'm still new at this whole traveling thing, it just dawned on me that visiting formally known communist countries might just be a really good visual education for me. Reading about such a topic would completely bore me. Until now all I ever thought about when someone would reference Bucharest Romania was that Michael Jackson performed there back in the 90's. Also that "ugliest building" reminds me of the Capital Records building in LA.

I’m Romanian and just wanted to say…

Fan Fact: Soups are actually keeping your body cooler in the summer. And does the opposite in the winter.

We also have the best soups in the world, you can actually taste the flavour and feel the vegetables. We don’t really blend our soups ( ciorba ).
We have those blended ones too but they just very boring, and feels like baby food.

Please next time try a vegetable soup with sour cream.
Beans soups are very good.
I love the white soups and soury ( make sure they don’t sour that with lemon and actually use BORS )
