Resident Evil 4 Remake - Before You Buy

Im looking forward to playing this. I grew up with resident evil. Started with 2 then went back to the first one on the original playstation. Played 3 after that when it came out and absolutely loved this franchise.

When i first saw 4 though and the direction they went with it i was furious!! I actually refused to play the game. When 5 cane out i tried it but quickly shelved it too.

Moving forward i stopped gaming in the 360 era for ten years. Three years ago i bought the ps4 and was stoked to see a remade re2. That was the first game i bought and man, it was perfection!

I proceeded to play 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Im glad i finally tried 4 because i did end up having fun with it and all the others as well. Resident evil is probably my absolute favorite gaming franchise. It suprised me how much i enjoyed 4,5, and 6.

I just got a ps5 last week and am getting ready to upgrade the re2 remake and play it again followed by the remake of 4. Im stoked to see how they play on the ps5. So far ive i ly experinced ps4 backwards compatibility and 60fps and its been great so i cant wait to see the 120fps 0.0

Now i just need them to remake 0 and 1 and ill be complete 😁

Do you remember the menu for Separate Ways on PS2? I was 17 in 2005 and I just stared at Ada in her iconic red slit dress in that menu. My Korean stepmom entered my room and demanded to know what I was watching.

I hate how they changed the pronunciation of Luis' name in the remake......Apparently now his name is LouiiiiiEEEEEZZZZ..........I guess it wasn't Spanish enough in the original...........so stupid........

I already bought the game I just wanted to see the video I'm at the island I just beat Salazar after two freaking hours on hard-core I've beaten it on every other consol what da hell

I'm so pissed about how Capcom gave other to studio the remkaing of RE3 which was the best in the entire franchise and was royally fucked and turned into a linear experience being that one the open ended that introduced the mechanic of Nemesis pursuing jill that was implemented for the RE2 remake. RE2R and RE4R god tier games... and my favorite one got a bastardization of the entire franchise. RE3R is even worse than RE6.

Resident Evil 4 is a Remake from a completely new graphics engine, but it's Faithful Remake

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that HATES this game... I never really liked RE games growing up, and I bought this one just bc of all he glowing reviews... I will NEVER buy another... Coming from playing games like God of War and Ghosts of Tsushima, even Hogwarts Legacy, the player movement and mechanics in this game is just SOOO slow and lumbering and inconvenient... It feels so limited... If you're already an RE fan then I get it... But I just think these are some of the worst made games ever... And are EXTREMELY overrated... Just my opinion... I know no one asked...

I don't really know where Resident Evil 4 ties into RE: Darkside Chronicles (my first RE game) but its def familiar and i like it ✓

Honestly amazing I play the original RE 4 over and over and my first time play the remake I did hardcore difficulty and it was absolutely amazing I loved the new take on it, it kept the originality while keeping up with the modern 🖤🖤

Well I don’t know “your body” but I know your face, I can spot you from your videos, not to brag… but if that is something you are asking us if we would like to know your body than I’d say yes, a squishy heavy YES. I don’t want to speak for everyone but I know when someone is “teasing” me & we want a “before you touch” or “before we tug”.

Resident evil 4 was my first and favorite because it made me fall in love with the games. I played it on the Wii.

Leon's run animation sucks. He looks like he's going FAST but his speed is actually speedwalking. Why? Also I don't like some other animations, they look too slow and unrealistic, worse than the original in my opinion. Like when leon kicks enemies or breaks free from grabs, IRL things are MUCH faster, why aren't they in here?

The Remake is much MUCH better than the original in literally every single way imaginable.

Japanese audio is way better in this game, in the original english was awesome

usually i never liked r.e games,But got the trainer and used it for turning R.E 4 to a shooter story kind of a game(faster play through n more fun for me atleast!)
Trainer for this game can change the F.o.w for better overview in game during play=recomend it strongly game gets much better that way!!

Why does Leon run like Steven Seagal?

I intentionally hadn't seen anything from this remake. Just watched the first couple of minutes of this video and I purchased the game full price.
And It's expensive in my region so it was a big decision :D
I'm happy to say I got my money's worth. RE4 is back in full force. I have a feeling this is gonna sell really well.
This is premium old-fashioned (but modernized really well) lineer-ish action horror at its best.

Well it sucks on ps4. I've never played a more glitch infested game! Leon falls off the map all the time, no cutscenes load properly, comms segments don't either. Sound delays on everything. Takes almost two minutes for the typewritten to load. Honestly this game is a good remake if it functions but otherwise it's unplayable. Oh and I know it's not my system cause it loads all of my other games great including ff7 remake. Truly a shame.

Just buy it. It's superb.

One of my favorite if not my favorite remake. It's amazing and takes and leaves just enough from the original to make it nostalgic but also it's own special game.

I normally complete a game a throw to the side never to be seen again but I have been playing Resident Evil 4 remake over and over again

I actually appreciate the insight so to speak knowing that I may have watched a spoiler cutscene or two. I honestly figured it’d be more interesting to play this and not the original because after playing 5, I figured that stopping to shoot mechanism would prevent me from playing anything similar as well as finishing 5.

I never picked up the original, and this was the first Resident Evil game I've ever played. I'm absolutely hooked. Even days later, I can't stop thinking about it. I want to play it over and over.
