I have a moderate background in photography and am just getti Thanksng into color grading of my drone footage. In order to get an accurate "Golden Hour" color LUT, can I take a large grey card and expose it in natural "Golden Hour " light and then create a lut from it?
ОтветитьBefore I order I want to be clear about their use. Will these be applicable in both D-log and D-Cinelike? I have a Mavic Pro. Thanks. Love all your tutorials.
ОтветитьHey Stewart- I know this is an old thread- but I still am working with a Phantom 4 pro-v2.
Do you recommended shooting with D-Cinelike profile & bringing back the contrast and saturation, or a Normal profile and dial down the Sharpness, contrast & saturation, and then adjusting from there?
Seems like there’s so much more latitude with D-Cinelike, but more work later.
great intro, I like your sense of humor!
ОтветитьI have a parrot bebop 2, would this work as well?
ОтветитьThank you very much! You're premium channel for drone filming and I learn a lot here!
ОтветитьT H A N K Y O U cheers from (Outback country) Wild Western Australia
ОтветитьAwesome video, super helpful! I had a question regarding the colour grading. If you are making a travel video where you take shots of different types of scenery, how can you use different types of colour grading to suit the particular shot and still make the video feel cohesive. For example, A beautiful grassy area with mountains and lake would be well suited to a orange/teal look like you have shown in the video, but a castle would look good in a washed out colour like you have shown. If both shots are to be in the same video, would the different colour gradings still produce a cohesive video or would it look weird? Thank you. Hopefully my question made sense :D
ОтветитьWould you like to work with footage from Australia? I have so much its amazing
ОтветитьGreat video, I learned a lot from it. And those LUTS look great. Cheers.
ОтветитьAwesome intro! I wish life was like that to. Overall, great video!
ОтветитьGreat information, thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьHi Captain, Thxs for your great offer. One question: in your 50 minutes colour correction tuition video, will you be using only FCPX or also less expensive but versatile software like Lumafusion? Thanks
ОтветитьGreat idea! Did learn a lot from the masterclass, but was still just fiddling around with color grading, not really knowing what I was doing except for pulling the histogram wider. Looking forward to diving into the new lessons!
ОтветитьDon't forget that if you want your footage to look like it was filmed in Los Angeles, you need to place a bottle of Lucozade in front of the camera. LOL
ОтветитьNice! Great job bud
ОтветитьDoes your color grading tutorial go into using the new color wheels in FCPX or just using the color boards? Also do you go over using the scopes in RGB parade or any other Advanced color grading techniques? The color grading tutorial is is a nice value add… and depending on your reply it will determine if I go ahead and purchase. Thanks SZ
ОтветитьSo thankful I found your channel! Keep up the amazing work!
