Blueprints should be available right from the start.
ОтветитьHad this pop into my recommended today. I've been housing miners ever since I learned (probably from one of your videos) that you could snap barriers to miners. As soon as blueprints came out one of the first things I did was turn my miner encasements into blueprints. Made a bunch of variations with different footprints, my standard one being the largest at 3 wide and 4 long, but having shorter and thinner ones for cases where nodes are too close to each other or map geometry.
ОтветитьHow do you deal with miner's that really make for awkward placement in relation to the world grid. Here the limestone node seems relativly ok. But many nodes are not working well with the world grid and having the side of the miner clip into the walls becomes frustrating fast.
ОтветитьReally love this Compact Miner Housing Design - Just killer for easy to pop up, remote nodes!
ОтветитьNarsty having to pay a sub to get BP lols
ОтветитьI don't understand, if you're using blueprints, why can't you make the miner as part of the blueprint so you can jst put the entire down on an ore vein with the miner already inside it, snapping it to the vein?
ОтветитьThe 1x2`s are brilliant.. and WHAT a system u made bro.. It works very vell. Just coming back to SF after the summer. Time for fall gaming !!!
ОтветитьYou know, it's a LOT faster if you don't include the base foundations in the blueprint. Instead, lay your foundation on the resource node and drop the BP right on top.
Ответить"today we're gonna talk about how to house minors..."
my fbi guy listening through the phone on my desk: 0_0
i know im doing this wrong , but the time i spend fiddling with getting the blueprint to work is 10x more frustrating than just rebuilding the same structure
ОтветитьLove this idea, but honestly I think that miners look great stand-alone! The clipping necessary in these builds looks a little janky to me, so I'd rather just leave them be!
ОтветитьThe last build with the red beams looks amazing, I love super minimalist stuff, just started playing and I'm in tier 2 so lamenting not having access to this stuff. I'm trying to make everything fit in with nature so I've been sinking foundations into the ground and building on those and then removing them to have the snapped grid be 'on the ground' :'D
Much slower I know but, helping my minor OCD
always wondered how i could encapsulate a minor. I'll let y'all know if this worked. Edit: OH, like an ore Miner.
this was always a joke
I love your tutorials and you have been a huge inspiration for me. But what I dont understand with this video is how you placed down the original foundation and walkways and what relation those share with the world grid.
ОтветитьIt would be cool if the developers added a miner for craters (pits). Giant. Industrial power, burn.
ОтветитьTbh, the fact that you can't place miners directly in the blueprint builder is top-tier smooth brain. I would absolutely love to build around my miners in a (cough) satisfactory and elegant looking way without having to be fastidious with weird foundation heights and imperfect alignment.
ОтветитьHow does this type of snapping work since miners snap to nodes not the global grid?
Ответитьthis is what i need in my world! thanks dude.
ОтветитьДаю знать! Хочу больше гайдов!
I'm letting you know! I want more guides!
I must be thick but you completely lost me on how you are able to align the blueprint so that the miner goes in exactly the right spot. It isn't like the BP will snap to the resource node. Or does it?
ОтветитьThe one before the last one (with half foundation) is really cool, although a bit finicky
Ответитьmust admit I like the simplest (last) one the most :D
ОтветитьDid anyone create and save as blueprint Mk.3 Miner with direct connect double output (as you can make with Micro management)?
ОтветитьOh boy... we have seriously different approaches to the game xD I would rather not spend hours making the factory pretty, has to be functional and that's that :D
ОтветитьOk it is totally unneccessary and i will never build these around my miners, but it really looks awesome. 😎
ОтветитьI'd love to see some micro factory builds. Like a single blueprint that you plop down on a copper node and outputs copper wire and cable, or a place and forget concrete factory. Especially if they're early game friendly.
ОтветитьDId something similar, but I ditched the enclosed design and opted for an open one that surrounds the miner so it looks more like an actual mining pit. Great ideas tho!
ОтветитьCome to think of it... the most useful one-blueprint factory I can think of would be for Concrete. (Perhaps two or three blueprints that interlock, depending on how cramped you're willing to go.) Spam that sucker all over the map.
Not that I care whether or not you make one really, since now that I thought of it I'm pretty sure I'll be making my own for aesthetic reasons. Still, though, you might enjoy making one yourself and if you do... might as well share it, right?
I really like the last one, allowing you to make a complece for the triple nodes.
Ответитьcan you not have open spot for the ladder that on the miners ? i see that ladder now not usable anymore yet its clipping and still visibel
ОтветитьI love learning about the little things I didn't know I could do, like put a 1 meter wall in the same place as a full window.
Ответитьminors???? and how you can house them?????
ОтветитьI still haven't found a miner building design that I'm happy with. Lots of ideas in here that I'll have to experiment with, though. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe last one is more my style.
Ответитьlove that idea. i was at one point in my Main Save doing that with my miners. as i wanted to get some progress here and there i put that a bit aside. i may start doing that again now with blueprints thanks total nice idea.
ОтветитьHow did you find the central point of the ore node?
ОтветитьWhere can i find your blueprints? I'd love to look at those
ОтветитьGreat idea, I will most definitely be using this in my builds!
ОтветитьSo you can't have the miner be part of the blueprint and just have it snap to the node?
ОтветитьPretty cool 👍
ОтветитьJeez I guess I know what I’m doing for the next dozen or so hours…lol
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial
Ответить4th
Ответитьi think you should have an over hang with slanted roofs. irl its for water management, but i like it.
Ответитьsick
ОтветитьIm the first!!
