Are You Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced at Snowboarding?

So im an advanced rider and ive been snowboarding for less than 3 weeks 😂 no way dude

I feel im advanced i can confidently go through woods catch good air off side hits and carve pretty well. Now for the park im able to boardslide not great but decent i can 180 i just have trouble landing on my off side and i can 180 on a box so i think im intermediate and advanced int he middle

I’m 13 and I’m between an advanced and expert because I am super good in trees powder bumps and jumps but when it comes to rails 360’s and a lot of expert tricks I just can’t. The only tricks in the park I can do are jump 180’s of decent sized jumps 50-50 on a rail and 180’s off boxes.

i thought i was intermediate but after watching id say im between intermediate and advanced if not advanced , i can confidently carve down the whole run with out eating shit i can hit moguls and i actually love riding moguls. ive never ridden tree runs or powder because yeah australian ski fields

Advanced to export been rideing 30 years normal goofie ride jump land both parks are ok I have the most fun making my own lines backcountry building my own jumps or dropping a nice cliff dropping out of a perfectly good chopper in Alaska was the crossroads just riding massive air no effort riding on a mountain that had no tracks on it is insane breathtaking and peaceful feeling u will ever get to experience riding, I would half to say if you are a beginner don’t push your limits when I first started it took me a good season to get the basics down second season I ventured to the green and blue runs 3rd year to the black once I was able to ride good normal and goofy then I started charging the mtn jumps mogels cliffs corness parks grabs spins flips it’s all fun and no matter how much u ride u learn different techniques every day so ride have fun

Started this season i can do good carving i can backflip and frontflip + consistent frontside and backside 180 and ride switch okay. Learnt snowboarding with a good friend in powder and tight tree lines with rainboots

i'd sadly say still intermediate after 21 years of riding. i was too afraid to dabble into freestyling and parks, but i decided i'll start doing tricks from now on. I can somewhat do powder, but not really well, I get frustrated with it quite quickly lol. Moguls are no problem, as well as going switch. Was never the carver type so this technique isn't too much in my books as well yet.
going to do a fresh up course for technique so I can improve the carving, powder and tricks.

I'd say I'm an intermediate rider. I can confidently do East coast black diamonds and hop moguls on a board, but ill probably eat shit doing it at least once.

Expert level snowboarding here w intermediate freestyle is pretty spot on for me . I like this type of scale . But also age comes in to factor I am 31 . I’m not throwing backflips off natural jumps like I was at 16 at mt baker.

Beginner freestyle here I think. I just spent two days in WV and finally ride switch with about 90% of my normal confidence. Landed some jumps with board grabs in the small park that was open, but still ate it when I tried to do a board slide on a rail. I absolutely love buttering.

I'd say I'm advanced... I can ride the whole mountain no problem... the only skill I'm missing that I'd really want to improve is clamping down my bindings while moving without having to sit

... or I can cop out and go for the new Burton Step-Ons...

I'm a beginner of beginners, I can only turn and brake on the board, and I'm always scared to take the lift

im probably intermediate just snowboarding, but freestyler im still def a beginner based on how much I eat shit at the park lmao

I could easily say I am expert whenever I can jump at every bump and ride on red like it is an highway :D. That will be my limit eheheh

If you can do freestyle in the back country than you sir are advanced rider.

I would say I’m an intermediate. I’ve been boarding for about 4 years now. Just learned how to properly carve. Can’t wait to put in more work tho. This is so much fun!!

Do you guys think rip-sticking and long-boarding really really help. Iv’e done both and went for the very first time and could easily do a blue/black diamons.

Backcountry category lol i'm more on my splitboard than on the regular one...

I thought I was intermediate but based on this I am medium advanced probably. I like the way you defined the categories and how you separated freestyle as a separate category.

I would say that I’m an expert rider but when it comes to the park and stuff I can’t do like a triple cork or anything but I can ride any rails or boxes and jump on any jump. So I would say I’m an intermediate park rider
