The 2021 Honda Odyssey Elite is the Minivan For Today's Modern Families

Until then, let us know what you think of the refreshed Honda Odyssey below! Should Honda have added AWD and a few more features to the Odyssey? Or is it perfect the way it is?

If you needed an 8 passenger minivan, would you choose the odyssey elite or the Toyota xle? I wish I could get a higher trim in the Toyota with AWD, but they limit you at the XLE fwd with 8 passenger. Thoughts?

I don't think the ZF 9-speed was the worst transmission in the world, definitely better in Honda and Acura products, compared to FCA products (Idk why FCA tuned the 9-speed to operate like a 4 or 5-speed). But this 10-speed is much improved, and imagine if manufacturers go up to like 11 or 12 gears one day.

Almost all the minivans in my neighborhood are Siennas

Its a no brainer versus the Sienna (not to mention the interior cloth is crap). The Base model Sienna hybrid is 55k! I got the TOP model Honda Odyssey Elite for 50k. 10 mpg difference is not that much especially if you dont do that much driving.

I would choose this over an SUV

I actually think the 2018-2021 odyssey is one of the best looking minivans ever built. Carnival is a close second but a little excessive looking. Then the new 2021 sienna xse

Well, actually the idea of a vacuum on a minivan was from Ford with the Windstar Solutions

Great van love the motor sound which I feel it’s faster than the pilot and odyssey. Sadly 2021 is fugly and 2022 is taking away the vac, I hope 2022 comes with another refresh with big upgrades possibly hybrid. This van doesn’t feel big I own it but it is roomy and agile, models with bigger rims ride harsher fyi.

The Pacifica really puts this thing to shame

Today I drove sienna, hybrid. Very impressive. Overall experience. Amazing mileage. 14km in city. Never go back to non hybrid.
Didn't like few things in hybrid sienna 2021. Overall shape and design is so so. Honda odyssey is better, little noisy engine when speed up, otherwise impressive quite cabin, smooth ride.
So, Honda.. wake up and toss your odyssey in recycling bin and come up with hybrid or all electric.

Great review as always but I think the EX or EX-L or even the Touring, the reason being most Honda minivan drivers choose this trim the most, just like the Sienna is mostly the AWD XLE. Just a humble suggestion.

This made me so excited that I bought a 2011... it has the bells and whistles at a fraction of the price :p

Man this thing looks ugly and ancient compared to the new sienna, why the hell does the styling reminds me of toyota previa, this thing is butt ugly
