Halo 4 All Cutscenes in 4K 60fps

Man this is such a bastardization of what made Halo good. All because 343 couldn’t write an original idea to save their lives. They really reused “don’t make a girl a promise”, Chief won’t shut the fuck up, the ending doesn’t make any sense at all (Cortana just randomly teleported Chief to cyberspace just to love him up? Very cool!) What a cheap bunch of shots to try and bank on nostalgia. The writing is so bland, Captain Del Rio is killed off screen for…trying to do his job? The AI is rampant and just destroyed your ship’s bridge, and he rightfully wants to take her and destroy it because who tf knows what else damage she could cause? But no, 343 writes like I’m a 3 year old with “mean tone man is le bad guy for trying to steal your AI Kim K, he must disappear!” Game gave me a disease, glad I never played it cuz this story is so so bad, and the fact that the comments are all saying the story is amazing is just another indictment on people at large and how low their standards and brains are for eating up this garbage. You get what you deserve but why did I deserve to see everything about Halo completely SA’d just because these knuckleheads couldn’t understand good story writing if Halo 2 smashed them over the head? Bruh/10. At least Jen Taylor’s voice acting was superb and enjoyable to listen to Cortana go rampant, and thankfully they banked on sex appeal (for some reason gosh golly I wonder why).

I hope whoever did the audio design for this game never finds work in the field again. This is one of the most annoying game’s to hear, idk what it is but they found the most obnoxious possible noise for everything

This game destroys the originals in acting and art direction. Go back and play the old ones....they feel like a cheesy Saturday morning cartoon by comparison

an underrated part of this whole thing I think is the ending when his armor is removed and the chest plate falls to the ground and doesn't even move. it just lands and that's it. that's how fucking heavy that armor he's wearing is. no one seems to appreciate that aspect of spartans, just how goddamn strong they are

As much as I disliked the game when it came out, I have to admit I like humanizing the spartans. They are efficent war machines, but at their core there is a reason they fight. Without that, what's the point.

Halo 4 was what introduced me to halo and I still prefer it to CoD I really liked the Dynamic drama between Chief and Cortana because Cortana saved Chief so many times that Chief wants to return the favor big time.

If they didn't fuck the armour, continuity and design this would have been decent.

As Parangosky told Fleet Admiral Hood, Del Rio was just an average ship captain and he never really stood out. He was chosen by Hood as the “safe” option of a captain while Halsey chose Laskey because she new he was a true leader that people would follow

If the gameplay was a bit better, then 4 would absolutely be in the top tier with the og 3 and reach. It is the closest though compared to the other 343 main games

How can someone not like this game. The campaign/storyline is perfect for me. But yes people will never stop judging things. For me its 10/10.

When Halo 4 released my older brother got it for me and my younger brother and I loved Halo 4 at the time though I didn't know why the story felt different from other Halo titles but now I look at Halo 4 and I kinda wish that it would've been the end of Halo with the way they ended the game it would've been a decent ending to chief's story instead we get the cluster fuck that was Halo 5 and the mess that Infinite quickly became. My take on Halo 4's story is Master Chief having to chose what he'll become either just another machine for war or a man which is what Didact's purpose is in Halo 4 to show what Master Chief would become if he didn't play his cards correctly yet just another pawn in a never ending war and that's what I like about it

It's so sad thinking about what Halo 4 could've been. There are many aspects I hate about this games story, but it truly brought so many good things to the table; the characters of Chief, Cortana and Lasky in particular. I think people would've been much more open to this story if they developed the more talkative Chief more slowly, and introduced the Diact-Composer plotline in a way that's understandable independent of non-game media.
