Would you shoot a whole wedding with only medium format cameras?
Ответитьgroom potraits look like album cover right there
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you! Quick question for you - flash during the ceremony. I've heard it is frowned upon to use (unsure if true or not), but saw you use it in this video. I have an upcoming wedding that is a very dark venue with dark walls (not good for bounce). Really only method is off camera or on camera flash to make it work - do you ever have any issues with flash utilization during the ceremony?
ОтветитьI have learned so much. Thank you for sharing. I am getting a degree in photography, and my only worry is talking to people. So this helps. Still, I dont have my camera bc i am understanding all the different ones, so it is hard to pick just now.
ОтветитьHi! I Just watched this great video and I want to know in reception time you are using a camera off flash! The question is: are your second shooter is connecting with the same off flash too ? Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing, this is so helpful.
Ответитьmy name is BrItto , i from Brazil, i love your job.
ОтветитьI watched the full video hahahaha.
Ответитьwatched every second of it, and learned a lot, thank you John, you are amazing!
ОтветитьWhy not just run with a 45-100 ?
ОтветитьHaving my first wedding shoot this weekend and your videos are calming me down so much, I work as a product photographer, but my passion is taking pictures of people. Thank you so much for the content you put out. It's a real anxiety relief. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this, very useful!
ОтветитьI totally watched the entire video and enjoyed every minute. I learned so much. I was even taking notes all throughout the video and rewound in a few spots! You are an amazing photographer and teacher, John. All the best to you in a long and fruitful career!
Ответитьso many flashes on ceremony . where is atmosphere , romantic?
ОтветитьSeen every bit of this video. Pure gold for me!
ОтветитьHey John, I have just been watching thorugh this great wedding video, did I see taht you had another remote flash somewhere in the room around about the Reception Intro \ first dances? can you explain how you use this remote light and how you would suggest setting it up etc many thanks man great video as always :)
ОтветитьI indeed watched the full video. Thank you!
Ответитьgreat video....thank you...
ОтветитьI love your work, John. You're one of my favorite photographers.
ОтветитьSorry but I don't understand the shots where their feet are cut off, why don't you reframe? It's like you only take a picture of the center without reframing?!
ОтветитьMany thanks John for this video. Much appreciated.
Hope you and your family are all keeing very well and the business is going from strength to strength.
GOD bless you.
Hi, I have a question about shooting weddings with the GFX camera. I'm wondering whether photos are taken in 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio, or if only vertical photos are in 4:3. Thank you in advance for your response.
ОтветитьI like your videos so much. As I'm looking forward to be a wedding photographer
ОтветитьYou have such great techniques that I will be utilizing your ideas and teachings for future sessions and weddings! Thank you!
ОтветитьI wanted to know the shutter speed and f for photos you showed
Ответитьyou are using classic Chrome?
also, gfx bad autofocus won't make any problem for the wedding photoshoot?
I have GFX100s, 80mm, 25-35mm. Is that possible to do a wedding photoshoot?
I am thinking to buy the next generation of GFX100 body as well.
How many photos on average do you end up shooting per wedding?
ОтветитьHi John, thank you for the video! Your hard work helps me a lot! Could I ask you how you set your flash in case of ''emergency'' use when you have to be quick? And again how do you use it on the ceremony part? Manual setting or TTL? Thank you :)
ОтветитьAmazing thats for all this! One question about the sparkler shots... Were you at 100-s with no flash?
ОтветитьThanks for making this video!!! Your videos are a lot of help!!!
ОтветитьHi John what is the ratio that you used on the wedding with the GFX ? 4:3 or 3:2 ?
Ответитьyour videos are dope! Question: what if the bride is taller than the groom? 😬Thank you for what you do!!
ОтветитьGroom was on that Yack EARLY! lol.
ОтветитьThanks a lot! ❤
ОтветитьDope!!
ОтветитьGreat Video!
ОтветитьWhat is that constant light you used for there exit under the sparklers
Ответитьi like your attention to details. always paying attention to things in the background and not just your subject
ОтветитьGreat camera but the price for a medium-format lens...pffff. Super expensive.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьWould it be rude to reject a drink or food from the couple(s) if I forgot to mention it beforehand? I tend to have a sensitive stomach and would rather feel a little hungry but hydrated with water (normal or sparkling) for the sake of not having to go to the bathroom.
ОтветитьThis was amazing and you are second to none. Just wow.
ОтветитьMy wallet could never
ОтветитьGreat job ! Thanks for the video! I noticed that both you and the second photographer use flash . Don’t you affect each others photos? If don’t, how do you do that?
ОтветитьIn your incredibly detailed videos a photographer can learn so much!!! Notes are important for someone to maximize your Professional Photography! Thanks so much John!
ОтветитьStop her kiss kiss…… Wow you are the man! Excellent job John!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьJohn thank you for sharing it is a great guide with very detailed tips, great shots, my favorites are at the end before the couple leave outside. Great Job!
