The earnestness is a little much, but that's the show biz in it I suppose.
I almost feel compelled to make my ex who does Broadway productions to watch some of these because I truly think Tom
missed his calling on the theater stage.
I could completely see him getting work in theater because the one thing his rock performances lack (not in a bad way, just a factual way) is the rawness & dirty factor of the bands who did the music he covers.
That sort of clean, caricature "rock & roll" is perfect for the theatre stage.
The musicians in this band are fantastic.
Yeah, the guy should've forced the info on Ariana, but this is life and it's going to pay off for her, as well as all the self righteous, morally superior cast mates who are making coin off of it presently.
Hard to imagine him finding the Rachel chick interesting to be with once the infatuation wears off, but he'll be just fine.
From what I've seen of the show he was surely the most likable despite the real life situation.
This will all blow over before we know it.

The band isn't bad but Sandoval is way off key. He's into his image and wants to look like a Rockstar but doesn't quite cut it. A nice try and a nice band for a small town bar.
