In regards to Pound being alive, I just have to say: I also hate it when Oda doesn't commit to a character death and brings them back for seemingly no other reason than to retrospectively ruin the moment and rob it of any emotional impact it might have had. That said, I was very happy to see him reunited with both his daughters! It's a very heartwarming scene that, if nothing else, makes me just a bit more forgiving towards this particular decision.

To an extent, I think the dinosaurs and Pterosaur are cool. I just wish there was more variety than there being 3 Theropods

Big Mom's "Japanese Disney Monsters" are all based on Yokai, mainly Tsukumogami. inanimate objects brought to life from either being used for 100 years and are given a soul or objects throw out or mistreated and seek revenge. surprisingly, a few are shown in the panel like Bakezōri and Karakasa-Kozō, the sandals and umbrella respectfully.

Pff~ "T-Rex reskins". that's a spit in the face of every carnivore dinosaur discovered. what, are Eoraptor just "tiny T-Rexs" now? atleast Pachys are herbivores and just look like an carnivore because of it bipedal. atleast Oda showed off it's dominate traits of headbutting instead of going for a bite.

hell! i'll defend the "T-Rex reskins" just because they are atleast unique between the 2 we've seen! an Allosaurus is way more of an interesting choice than a T-Rex and Spinos are way more recognizable due to the sail. heck! there's only a good handful of giant carnos to begin with and your just gonna be done with them just cause~ you can't tell, but i'm rolling my eyes.

Yamato has been clearly depicted in like 3 panels so far and already people are saying they want him on the Straw Hats. I can see it.

I know it's a bit of an out there theory, but I had a thought that Yamato is a Homie made from Odin's dead body, I feel like this would explain Kaido owing Big Mom, as to who's soul, maybe it was Kaido's actual son that was passing to go back and ride on the theory of Kaido's son being dead when it was first announced he had a son, or maybe part of Kaido's own soul, if Kaido turns out to be a dragon he might not be able to sire his own child, I just feel like this is a more grounded healthier way of looking at the idea that Yamato might be Odin, as opposed to him being still alive or reanimated by moria

Here's my Yamato theory.
I think Yamato originally wanted to be like his father Kaido, learning the Thunder Bagua to make his father proud, and was a "bad guy" but was also a rebellious person that explored frequently. I believe he met Ace, and during his time with Ace somehow had a change of heart. Having heard of the stories of Kozuki Oden during his rebellious exploration, I believe that after having that change of heart, he decided to dress similarly to Oden as a willful act of disrespect towards Kaido. I also believe he wears the mask to disguise himself when he is out, or possibly in front of anyone except Kaido. I also think its possible that he wears the mask to hide a scar that either Ace, or Kaido gave him.

The kabuki aspects of luffy’s bound-man is terribly under-appreciated for us westerners. It’s just so cool!

I theorize Yamato taught Kaido the Thunder bagua.

I have a theory that Yamato could be Momonosuke. Momo came from the past to defeat Kaido, but is sent back to his time at the time of or before his execution by Orochi. He is now 28-ish years old and upon being sent back hatches a plan to impersonate and pose as Kaido's son. He has infiltrated the Beast Pirates and waited for Luffy until the time he knew Luffy would be in Wano

Why you gotta hate on dinosaurs. Just accept the large lizard theme across the upper ranks. Jack’s mammoth however is cool because it is both ancient and not a lizard.

I noticed at the end of chapter 982, it's probably not important, but someone should point it out, Luffy and Ulti facial features are somewhat similar, not only that, but it seems they share some personality traits, and the fight against Ulti lasted only one chapter. Why give us a face off like that at the end of chapter 982 just to have Ulti defeated by Yamato?

I’m not even a dinosaur fan, but Ultis transformation was exciting as hell, lol. Perfectly fits her personality and Is a dinosaur most are aware of. I’m personally down with it tbh🤷🏾‍♂️

The first form of Observation Haki, as told by Rayleigh, is knowing your opponent's intent. So that goes well with Luffy knowing Yamato's benevolent intent

What happen if oden never actually died. He forgot about his past and his face got burn. He survived and oden saw this as an opportunity to recruit him as a strong ally and to make him obey his every command he start calling him his son.

The anime should be able to show the difference in power between Kaidou and Yamato - When performing the thunderclap, Kaidou uses one hand while Yamato uses both.

I typically agree with GrandLineReview but not today... lol. Perro sperro has plenty of business on Onigashima. Luffy shows up and KOs his brother. He loses an arm and then some. They get to Wano and King kicks em off the waterfall. Repeat with Marco. The latter of which (Marco) scatters the big mom crew in to the waves. Perhaps all her children live... Perhaps not. But perro sperro definitely has business to address. He is the first son.

Okay I know that we are getting a lot of ancient zoens in this arc and GrandLine I know you think Ulti's is a T-rex re-skin but, it actually isn't. The Pachy is not carnivorous dinosaur like we've seen with most of the Flying Six it's a herbivore with a very hard head. In fact hardhead might even be her pirate nickname "Hardheaded Ulti" what do you think?
