Hello Ben! Practical and insightful piece of advice. Attitude, Organization, Focused, Consistency and short breaks to avoid burning out. Totally agree!
ОтветитьHi Ben,
It's always a pleasure to hear your pieces of advice about that tricky task of passing this kind of exam, although fortunately, I don't need to overcome this test; I have a huge experience in other fields similar to the mentioned exam, and I can assure that the last point (take a break) isn't often taken seriously, and this is a big mistake that can drive us to fail when we probably didn't deserve it.
As always, thank you for giving me the possibility to comment, greetings.
My favourite points are the one's about consistency and not being cocky. Great tips!
ОтветитьI am taking fce on Suturday. Wish my luck, Ben! 👍
ОтветитьI'm taking the FCE exam (computer-based) this Saturday. I'm feeling so stressed about it, especially about the Writing and Speaking part. However, I'm afraid of failing UoE, Reading and Listening too, even I'm pretty confident of these. Any tips on what to do the night before the exam? Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks a lot Ben
ОтветитьI enjoyed your video! Just decided to take a weekend off from all the tasks I have been concentrated on. It is also possible to have an "efficient" break...I'm due to listen to videos and keep my english fresh in vocabulary eventhough I don't practise the exam parts. You learn something having fun, adding english during your favourite activities to wind down! Thank you for your advices! Having my CAE on next 10th and 13th May.
ОтветитьAs a CPE student, I just came across this video and I have to say that I totally agree with you. However, could you be more specific? I mean, in the end, we are talking about exam papers to perfect the technique or to know the format very well, so...How many CPE exam papers would you recommend before sitting the exam? 10, 20, 30...? Many thanks.
Ответитьhi teacher, i will be having checkpoint english exam soon. What should I do to improve the reading comprehension part? I've been doing quite a lot of past papers as well as exercises i found on the internet, but I still failed in tests
ОтветитьThis has been really helpful! Thanks! I haven't got any exam scheduled yet (and I don't even know if this is going to happen soon) but I'm always preparing. When the time comes, I won't be starting from zero, I hope. :)
ОтветитьThank you so much for your tips.
ОтветитьI will be taking the paper-based exam this next weekend. I am fairly confident in my listening/reading/speaking skills but I don't know how I feel about the writing part: I have a full-time job so I haven't really had the chance to "practice" writing my ideas down on a paper like I used to. Writing on my phone/computer is way easier for me nowadays and I regret not choosing the computer-based exam. Do you have any ideas or advice I could follow?
Thank you so much.
I’m having my CPE in June, I’m preparing with a private tutor.
Ответитьhey you! how can I do classes with you?
ОтветитьI have 1 day to look up everything 👀
Ответитьnot me watching this the night before my exam and realising I've done exactly the opposite of what you said
ОтветитьI got the PET (preliminary English test) 18 years ago. 😂😂
Ответить.. I truly made the mistake of being too cocky. ive been trying the write and imrpove alot. Because of Covid 19 I have never done a proper exam which is terrifying at itself. I did pass the placement test easily but, writing part will be my downfall.
ОтветитьHello Ben,
Can you give information about CELTA??
