he shows flashes of great arm talent then it's head scratchers. Texas offense was a complete waste of his time as a QB. Didn't develop him at all. If he had Sark he'd be looked at a lot different. I wonder if he can develop at the next level because the raw talent is there. He definitely has ability

I remember this game had me stoked. Sam was doing a fine job dealing but seemed a bit hesitant at times. Looking forward to analysis of NC's Howell, Cincinnati's Desmond Ridder, USC's Slovis, Sooner Spencer Rattler, and maybe even Liberty's Malik Willis(provided JT can procure that all-22. Good luck!).

On your question about the defensive coverage on the one play, I say it's a straight 3 deep, 5 shallow coverage.

In 4 years, the 2 best qb's from this draft class will be Ehlinger and Ian Book, not Trevor, Justin, Zach, Trey, Mac

Real talk Coach JT, if you knew you could fix ehlinger’s footwork and fundamentals, would you take him over Mac Jones? Or. What if you had the choice between Mac jones early in the first or Ehlinger at 3? Is there really something special in Mac Jones that warrants this much attention and potentially 3 first round picks (and a 3rd)

Ehlinger seems like he could be a very solid backup for a very long time. Maybe even a fringe starter like Case Keenam.

Thanks JT. I think Sam had some great throws. All interested should go back to 2019 and watch his game vs eventual champ LSU. Threw for 401 and 4 TDs. Carried Texas that day.

Really interested to see Ehlinger and Trask at the next level. Hoping we also get more of Eason / Fromm this year.
