They’re actually pretty nice
ОтветитьYA JUST GOTTA LOV DEM POSSUMS!
ОтветитьI wouldn’t consider them docile, but certainly misunderstood. But there are many videos that do show these animals biting when they’re pulled from traps. You make it seem like they’re docile in this though.
Ответитьlet the silly lil guy go he didnt do nutin
ОтветитьЧто он к нему прицепился,дебил?
ОтветитьIt would have been nice to show her some love after all that provoking. 😔 Now she's going to carry that bad experience with her for her lifetime. Especially, as a Momma who loves her babies. I mean come on, she was scared, show her love afterwards. Then pulling her tail, terrible. I hated that. 💔
ОтветитьNot aggressive at all. I would welcome any from trapped possum’s. Have one we feed every night. Very sweet!
Ответитьi heard that Opossums are almost completely immune to rabies - they can NOT be infecvted.
ОтветитьAaaaw she’s shaking
ОтветитьСлы , А тебе ботинок рот засунуть что будешь делать?
ОтветитьМужчина вы пошто животное мучаете, вас бы за хвост по таскать или что у вас там
ОтветитьI had an opossum that was kind of young. When I was a teenager heart cat cornered it in the garage. I put it in a rabbit cage and fed it and my mom is always saying you're going to get bit you going to get bit I can cut apples and things into slices and give it to the opossum and it would take it out of my hand and eat it. ❤
ОтветитьYou are hurting her. The way you grab her, ny the way she is caring her babies, looks like you don't care about mama possum and her babies,
ОтветитьWe have had a few opossums wander into our buildings and we just leave them be with an open door and they will wander back out in their time, no harm done.
ОтветитьThese are such lovely creatures, I wish we had them in the UK. They look so viscous but as soft as a brush, it makes me love them more ❤
ОтветитьI have one that lives in my couch (My cat probably draged it in or it came through something)
ОтветитьPoor cute little bluffing glowling fluff-fluffs <3
Ответитьlmao thats bullshit they WILL BITE but they aint in any way vicious they are awesome animals i got a baby it might be about 3-4 months old yesterday i put my hand in the cage to pick him up n the lil fcker bit me lol it bled but it didnt hurt im used to getting scratched up cuz i have another possum he is a year old and i have had him since he was the size of a mouse he would fit in my palm they really are cool animals but to say they wont bite is bullshit dont lead people to believe they wont because they will lol but its one of their last resorts like when they get scared and faint with that said much possum love!
ОтветитьI know the video deliberately antagonizes the possum, but it's for a good cause. If we could literally sit down and have a conversation with it about how the camera man was screwing with it for the sole purpose of dispelling a stupid myth about their aggression so that people would stop KILLING them and have VISUAL EVIDENCE to back up people's claims that they were passive, I think she'd understand. Ultimately, no lasting damage done, just annoying the animal.
ОтветитьOkay we got it. Don't maul the animal please. They get stressed out so you know give it a little water maybe a couple crickets and then find a new home for it but don't handle it too much, thanks.
ОтветитьYou said removed ticks of this one. I thought they ate ticks? I guess if they're around them a lot they're bound to get bitten. But when that happens, does it harm them too? If it does, then it harms them to try to eat them, because they risk getting bitten?
ОтветитьMy barn cat has made friends with a family of possums. I occasionally catch them chilling out on the hay bales sharing the cats food. I've never had a problem with them and since they eat ticks, mice and whatnot and they aren't nearly as destructive as racoons or ground hogs, they are welcome to hang out there. Just as long as they don't go after the chickens... which they haven't... yet.
ОтветитьThey are not vicious. They are pacifists and are so very shy. They'd rather avoid you than bite you and then of course, the famous fainting tactic. Just like biting, rabies could happen but highly unlikely primarily to their low overall body temperature; the affliction does not care for the environment in the creature's body.
ОтветитьOpposum are all bark no show. they look intimidating but thats about it. you pick them up and thats all they do open their mouth and looks mean
ОтветитьI caught one in the same trap a big male and he was mean as heck he actually broke a tooth trying to attack me Yes I did get him out and released him at a better location
ОтветитьHow about being a simple human and just let her go. Hell she has babies. Stop fucking with her for entertainment and let her be a wild animal
ОтветитьThey are beautiful, gentle, adorable, little creatures - pacifists, as you say. Thank you for the work you do getting the correct message out there!
ОтветитьC'est un rat ?😊😊
ОтветитьTrop mignon Ca remonte le morale ce genre de video❤❤
Ответить🥰 Thank You for this very important video and informations .
ОтветитьOnly the Virginia ones have that bad reputation for being aggressive?!? 🤭
I resemble that remark! 🤣😂🤣
They just look really disgusting! :/ lol their all helpless pretty much yeah, and they do a lot of good actually, but they look nasty. I’m running if I see one lol
ОтветитьLooks like you are torturing, teasing and abusing this poor animal. You are quite a sick individual. Possums are gentle creatures. Why don't you let him go. Ashole
ОтветитьIt's obvious that she's not vicious. Quit man handling that poor animal and shoving your finger in her mouth! She was scared to death. And if by chance she did bite, you would've deserved it and she likely would've been put down. You don't need to be working with animals
ОтветитьYep, grumpy but harmless. 👍
When I was really young, I used to play with them, much to my mother's dismay. I would pet them and call them kitties.
Poor animal 🤯
ОтветитьUr the one who's wild
ОтветитьThat hideous creature IS vicious, that's why this guy(lying to the viewers) is wearing not only gloves, but ridiculously thick gloves. Some nutter sees this vid, tries to make this ugly, trash eating scavenger a "pet", then gets mauled at home, and infected with disease.
ОтветитьDon't disturb a creature having babies!
ОтветитьThank you for doing this so people can see this. THEY EAT SNAILS and other stuff you don't want. They hide from people usually. And thank you for getting ticks off her and being considerate of her babies. I know she was scared but you were gentle with her and I feel like she got a fair trade for a brief scary alien abduction. XD I found one under my tool shed after many empty snail shells and was very happy--I hope she has kiddos!
Ответитьi was petting my opposum in my trap (I let him go) and he definitely bluffed then played dead ha
ОтветитьYou shouldn't yank an opossum around by the tail like that. You can cause spinal injuries.
ОтветитьJust what people need to see to get over their baseless fears and superstitions. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo adorable....
ОтветитьThis poor littke guy it's being harrassed and given the chance to attack and stood so still. Amazing how peaceful he is❤
ОтветитьSo calm. Love them
ОтветитьI love possums!!! They are not viscous at all. Had one raise a kitten in the alley until we could catch it. They are very clean.
ОтветитьConsidering her reaction, I don't think her tail is meant to carry her weight...
ОтветитьThanks you for sharing that and because have gloves on ❤😂😮😅😊🎉
ОтветитьOpossums aren't aggressive they just get scared some times so when u see an opossum don't try to annoy it
Ответить
