Moonpools charge up seamoths, prawnsuits, and seatrucks, so I heavily recommend it. You will also need the upgrade console to get modules for the vehicles as well, which can only be put in moonpools

Wasn't there a prawn suit/seamoth upgrade station in a mobile repair bay in the Aurora that had the prawn suit arm components.

The prawn suit is named as such as a reference to pop culture aliens called prawns that used similar suits for general mobility (I forgot what exactly it’s from) (they are also referenced in Rick and Morty)

I guess prawn suit gets it,s name from the prawn as they are scavengers on the sea floor and that is what you do in the suit maybe?.

I really wanna see how the cyclops mobile base would work compared to a normal base. I think it would be great to try build a cyclops base

You should do a sweet base build in the mushroom forest on the giant mushroom tree so you can have good access to the lost river and then do a cyclops base for the last half of the gams

Cyclops, so you're not bound to a place and explore further.

The downside to only a cyclops base is that there is no moonpool for vehicle upgrades plus the cyclops can only carry one vehicle and there is two.

Just ran across another survival-space game. I don’t think it’s nearly on par with Subnautica but you had asked about other games to play a while back. How about trying Empyrion - Galactic Survivor?

Use the Base because now you have the Large Rooms and it is so much better.

Z, i think the prawn, seamoth and cyclops are designed to work in water because the secondary expedition of the aurora, that tried to rescue the degasi crew.

I think early game a base is needed, but once you get closer to endgame a cyclops moble base is a good idea. I don't think you can have a water filtration machine in your Cyclops so a base is needed. I would recommend building it ether in the Blood Kelp Forest, or the Lost River

I say build a base for all the base necessary things and then build a Cyclops base I think that would be awesome

You can parkour over the boxes in the aurora in the entrance and in the cargo bay you don’t need the propulsion cannon!!!!!!

No charging except cyclops power cores sounds rough, but a cool challenge.

In the room with the prawn suites you can swim through the pipe area under water to get to more areas

I’m pretty sure you need a base to recharge the cyclops.

Let's Gooooo Cyclops Base.. It's like a mobile Home... You can basically have the same things inside the Cyclops, You can build a non-usable bed in there, can't you? lol
