Are you into using gemstones for any healing purpose? Share your opinions with us below.
ОтветитьIt KILLS ME to see someone who is not Chinese, profit off of TCM facials/Stone medicine more than other Asian acupuncturists. I get it, you’re catering to a lux clientele and you want to make money, but I think the business model is screaming, “I have zero proximity to other Asian practitioners/Asian clients who grew up in proximity to these practices.”
As a licensed esthetician, seeing non estheticians giving facials makes me cringe bad. The long fingernails on a client’s cleansed face.. The naked fingers being dipped into the product knowing her fingers are all up on new clients everyday.. sweety.. I know you’re a doctor, but cross contamination waits for no one.
A lot of folks down below have already spoken on the exploitative conditions involving the mining of a lot of these crystals.. Despite our societal infatuation of the free market, I am still in disbelief at how these people can erase the exploitative nature surrounding these crystals, and still feel good about interacting with these cultural items. I get they are nature’s “gem”, and don’t get me wrong, from 2016-2019 my ass was carrying around some crystals too. So I am guilty as charged for engaging in these medicines and not questioning their origins/people who historically carried the knowledge for us to practice. I was prioritizing my need for healing, comfort, and safety with myself and the conditions around me with very little support at the time. Which I’m sure a good chunk of people can also relate.
But after I challenged my curiosity it didn’t take that long for me whenever I was in the presence of these crystals, and more importantly the people who sell and actively engage with “crystal medicine”, before the vibe went sour. It just does. not. feel. right. And I damn sure don’t feel as if a large majority of those people are advocating for the rights, freedoms, and livable wages of the people who mine, export, and who have had the most proximity to these resources and traditions in their natural environment.
I am obviously unqualified to speak on how and what time periods these “spiritual healing systems” and their original healing applications were utilized in the past, but the way they are circulated, exported, sold, and utilized now.. it’s giving plastic shamanism harrrrrrrddd.
The gemstone stuff is not used in traditional Chinese medicine. This is just a ridiculously over-priced marketing gimmick.
ОтветитьI find this video so relaxing almost like asmr. I’m addicted
Ответитьgimmicky
Ответитьlol stones don’t do shit it’s just for aesthetic
ОтветитьBut the stones at the beginning were put on a towel on top, not on the skin direct, so how does the energy or whatever transfers over to the body? You could do this at home, I have those pink rollers and a gua sha, and some gemstones, but I doubt they have any real healing energy, I've tried, believe me!
ОтветитьIs nobody talking about how she is wearing eyeliner???
ОтветитьIf u rlly want this get ur own crystals for like £20 for all of them at markets and just massage ur skin don’t spend that amount of money cuase it looks cute 😭
ОтветитьI prefer a massage during the 'resting' period.
ОтветитьToday in how to waste money.
Ответитьfirst of all the lady doing the treatment’s face looks crazy i wouldn’t even trust her
ОтветитьI would not find that relaxing at all. She talks way too much
Ответить.
.
The crystals were real but the gemstones were fake.
ОтветитьThis is mind over matter y'all (manipulation)
ОтветитьWhat a joke 😂😂😂
First time seeing a facial without cleaning the face
RIP money 🙏
She looked relaxed 😌. Interesting concept.
ОтветитьBulllllshittttt
ОтветитьI can't believe there are people who fall and pay for such nonsense 😅 This is an insult to science!
ОтветитьThose are literally plastic shes scamming so bad
ОтветитьShe confidently speaks like she is doing a quality treatment.
ОтветитьLooool ear seeds = rhinestones with sticky backs
Ответить"natural" but she looks like she has nothing natural in her face...
ОтветитьAll those stones you can buy, put in your pockets and go get acupuncture! I have all of those stones. Altogether for each of those stones probably cost me $20 🤦
ОтветитьBullshit 😂😂😂
Ответитьi saw my pink 10 dollar jade roller lying there...
ОтветитьHow tf is putting a fake rock on your face gonna help your skin?
ОтветитьSeriously?? This is such a complete waste of money. Lady, you got fooled. Crystals do not do anything except look pretty.
ОтветитьThumbnail looks like the girl who murdered her mother in Indonesia whilst on holiday
Ответитьfyi she said she's been in the business for 24 years... which is weird for me. are most ppl in LA this naive?
ОтветитьA laughable rip off. I mean, the creator's laughing all the way to the bank. There's always some misinformed person with a lot of money out there falling for gags like this. 🤷🏻♀️
ОтветитьWhat a great idea for a channel. All about facials.
ОтветитьDoes….does she have an acupuncture license? Or a cupping license if that’s a thing… like she just started putting them in . Also those face gemstones look like fishtank gemstones…
ОтветитьThis does look very relaxing, but I don’t know if it’s worth the price :/
ОтветитьSo sad that she paid this much, while she'd have the same effect with stones you'd pick of the steet, aka; none. Then again, keeping eye make-up on during a facial seems odd too.
ОтветитьWtf with those random placement of plastic gemstones? Also no gloves?! Didn’t even bother removing her rings before performing a facial on a client!!!! I wish I could dislike this video a thousand times!!!
ОтветитьCHINESE MEDICINE FROM A NON CHINESE DR 😂😆
ОтветитьFeel like her name is sort of deceiving, she's not actually a "doctor" (M.D. or any sort of P.H.D)... she's a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, which is a fancy way of saying she is just a licensed acupuncturist. What a farce.
ОтветитьLady is sticking $5 glass rhinestone from a craft store on her ear and charging her $300. Man, rich people are dumb.
Ответитьwhy she kept eye make up on while skin treatment ?
ОтветитьShe’s a scammer but shes getting paid. Hustling at its finest lmao
Ответитьim white so i know nothing about traditional chinese medicine but something about this old white lady and her plastic fake stones tells me this isnt traditional chinese medicine
ОтветитьOnly a fool would do this🤣
ОтветитьWhile therapeutic and relaxing, $400 a pop for this is highway robbery. $150 at the most. 200 is pushing it.
ОтветитьWhat is a "doctor of integrative medicine"?
ОтветитьYou got shafted out of $395
