ОтветитьWe smash our hearts against the rocks !
Happy 2022 to everyone !
Cheers !
Interesting to realise that some of Morrissey's ways of using his voice go back to Edwyn!
ОтветитьGreat band. I don't remember them touring the States back in the day. I missed em'. Shame.
ОтветитьOrange juice is something good and important as orange juice.
ОтветитьIncredible find!! Thank for sharing! Love the studio version of this song even more!
Ответитьmaybe the roots of the Smiths
ОтветитьNobody Else soletrado, só Indie . Vtc.
ОтветитьSounds like Stewie from Family Guy
ОтветитьThe ultimate line up
ОтветитьEdwyn is awesome...A TRULY BRAVE MAN
ОтветитьI wrote a song in 1979 which had virtually the same base as this. I was15. I played it in my band. And it always got a great response. Then orange juice came out with this song ….and I loved it although when I used to play my song people said sounds a bit like orange juice I never said that o wrote my song two years earlier but I took it as a compliment…… haven’t played my guitar for over 35 years but after seeing this vid I’m inspired Thank you for uploading and thank you orange juice. Love to you all
ОтветитьYes that they were influenced by early talking heads makes them even cooler
ОтветитьThat it,s early talking heads makes it even better, course
Ответить👍
ОтветитьAs 'clean cut', suave and sophisticated as I've ever seen Edwyn.
ОтветитьLet's face it. Edwyn couldn't sing for toffee. He was truly terrible. 🤣🤣🤣 The music was nice, though.
Ответитьso good !. that crowd were a trifle reserved!
Ответить“Only my dreams satisfy the real needs of my heart…” Brilliant line.
ОтветитьHow on Earth can anyone resist dancing or at least grooving in their seats?!
ОтветитьA true artist
ОтветитьLoved the Scottish Indie thing in my teens. Especially Orange Juice - the sound was such a quaint mix of Soul, pop and punk. So many of their tracks have a feel that they could fall apart musically at any moment 😄❤
ОтветитьWow, this sounds just like the sound of young Scotland!
ОтветитьHe’s clearly annoyed at James here
ОтветитьThis was 2 months before I first saw them live at Leeds Warehouse in January 1982. I seem to remember the band were very drunk that night but were still utterly brilliant - I miss them so much!
ОтветитьThe far too short-lived pre-split 5 piece OJ!
ОтветитьThat bass is amazing
ОтветитьWtf. I've never heard this before!!! And I'm old. Luv!
Ответитьthat Roddy Frame on lead guitar
ОтветитьLove this song!!! 😍
ОтветитьYou Cant Hide Your Love Forever
ОтветитьThis is why guitars were invented. That bass line is just mega❤
ОтветитьCan hear early Arctic monkeys in this
ОтветитьHappy birthday Edwyn!!
Ответитьthis always picks me up!
ОтветитьMan! They glowed in the dark back then! greatest song EVER!
ОтветитьPerfeito!
ОтветитьI'm 70 now, just can't remember when I got a tape of this band that I've embraced their music until today that i almost forgot their music. Thanks to utube.
ОтветитьThe best line up , orange juice went down hill when James and Stephen were replaced ? Discuss
Ответить❤❤❤
FANTASTIC
Edwyn looks 22 and 16 at the same time
Ответитьi played you can’t hide your love forever over and over and over - mine came with a badge which i have proudly displayed above my desk - still one of my all time favourite… albums
Ответитьis that Paul Weller ?
Ответитьnothing better than being 19 and enjoying Orange Juice's music more than ever
ОтветитьChrist, that was terrible.
ОтветитьMusically awesome. The bass is sick
ОтветитьSolid F**** Gold!
ОтветитьStill brings a tear to my eyes, all these years later...perfect!
