*MSFS 2024* - Is It Worth It? | Review of What's Good, What's Bad & FAQs!

To be honest, this is a Microsoft product. It will not work good enough for me until at least three months after release. I am not trying to be funny, in my opinion it is just the way it is. I have not pre-purchased 2024 and I will not buy it until I believe it has some basic levels of funtionality. However I am absolutely certain it will work in the future and it sure looks good (when working).

Still solid bridges and cant fly under them. I thought that would at least be plausible.

better graphics yea... but does it need more power from the graphic card? or is the graphic managed by your bandwith ?!

FS2024 is in beta. It'll be at least another year before all of the new features will join up to make a decent sim experience. I wish they waited until then.

Lucky you're not in the UK, UK users are still having major issues even getting into the game. What we need is more videos showing the complete c**k up this release has been.

I managed to sim 3 different sessions in the first 24 hours. Only one time I had to wait for about an hour to login. Besides some textures taking long to load I had no issues, just pleasant flying.

I feel like I have been the victim of a huge scam. This game is a literal abortion.
I have already uninstalled it. Thank goodness for game pass. Genuinley feel sad for those that paid £200 for a cool download screen

I would be rather disappointed if i had forked out for this, and it didn't work. how can "Microsoft" not have the servers to cope.

I have hours of "time in game" and have been able to get inside an aircraft exactly once for 4 minutes before my own plane landed through my avatar after they stood up on the runway during the landing and the game crashed, so I'm well envious of this achievement!

They didn't anticipate the demand and I didn't anticipate refunding it after three days of abject failure.
I suppose we can both be suprised, then.

Is anybody else having an issue with the sound? I have a complete lack of sound. Instead of normal audio, the program produces only squeaking and buzzing noises from the moment it launches. These noises persist even when I switch focus to another application. I have confirmed that all my audio and graphics drivers are fully up to date.
I have submitted a report, but all they have said is to have a look at the list known issues and the discussion boards. I have, and it's not there.

Autogen content is still very lame and makes it feel like there's 0 upgrade

I'm seriously sick of games releasing and being as dog crap as ever when it launches, what happened to the passion??? what happened to devs who actually made games launch without issues, I guess this is what money does, doesnt care about how the game plays as long as they get their money, greedy for them to ask 219 euros for a aviator edition when you get most planes in standard, game is unplayable constantly having 💩 fps along with planes not working and im sick of having to say oh I need to give this sim another few months when in reality it shouldnt be like this😠I actually thought maybe Microsoft learned from flight sim 2020 launch but clearly not. I'll be honest I just gave up on looking forward to a new game launch because every game launch of anything is just horrible and not worthy to get on the 1st day, The game itself like it looks is awesome and i love the walk around,character customization and features a lot its just sad that basic stuff is ruining everything

I cant help thinking of The Emperor's New Clothes when i see 2024. Literally cant see what all the hype is about. Visually to me it looks the same. Granted most flights are at or above 24000ft for me so i just dont get it. Only seasons even remotely interests me and i can easily do without them. Maybe in a few years i might change my mind 😂

FADEC is still completely broken in the sim just like it was in 2020. None of the airplanes that have a FADEC throttle behave like they should at all. All of them keep the prop pegged at max RPM throughout the entire range and it really kills the immersion for me. There were a few mods to fix the Diamond in 2020, but the author has since disappeared and I'm not sure we'll ever get a fix for 2024.

ive manage to load my flight plan in to the EFB but when i hit SimBrief button on the tablet in the plane nothing happens, just says its simbrief plan requested. what do i do wrong?

But it's a "flight" simulator, not a car simulator. I don't really need ultra-detailed vegetation.
Anyway, I tried it for a day and then asked for a refund. For now, I prefer the 2020 version.
I have the 2020 deluxe version. So I should have had extra content in the standard 2024 version, but there was none. The three airports I bought were not there and I can't install them. The menu are usless. I read a bit on the forums and there is too much confusion for my age. I want to Fly, not configure and solve problems.

I love the new look and physics. However, I am having issues with rudder over sensitivity. The slightest input causes an over dramatic yaw. I've made adjustments to no avail. Also, every few minutes during flight, the plane gets tossed about really hard (like a 20 - 30, maybe 40 degrees nose left or right) as if the wind is pushing the nose over. And like clockwork, this always happens during final and at 100 feet before landing. Not sure what is going on. I wonder if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Mouse in Xbox is awful cannot pan it just moves so quickly has anyone found a fix?

This game is A $ $ , I have a high end rig and it was less than playable, and controller/tutorial was horrible, last MSFS was way better by a long shot
