Not in the wrong, he gave you no room but it is novices. Safe passing is something to learn if continuing on iRacing and that turn wouldn't be a spot many would try a move on there isn't a ton of room to go to. Ill see you out there. Quick note as well, learning safe clean driving and being able to tell how to avoid certain red flag drivers is key to getting out of the rookie licenses.

If you're always that clean and fair, grind a bit iRacing and you will have a lot of fun. If you enjoy "fun" and "tricky" car, grind to C and go for the LMP3 (Ligier Js P320) in Falken serie, multiclass with GT4. Trust me, you'll thank me later

in terms of fault, technically him, not leaving you space, but on the other hand that is a pretty difficult corner to make the move, i think he was overbraking in T1, so i would planned a move there, or if you could have timed your overspeed to get him on the hill before corkscrew.

D licence try the Ferrari series.. C licence and Porsche Cup is the most popular.. No ABS or TC on the Porsche 😃

You have to turn the mirrors on in the options and graphics tab. If you don’t have triples you need to set up a look left and right prompt

Remember 80% braking. You need threshold braking in iracint. You do not go 100% on the brakes. You use the maximum braking available which is usually around 80% just saying will help a ton.

Imo iracing is not the hardest to play. Most realistic but acc imo is harder.

Iracing players can't come over to acc and be top but acc players can come to iracing and get good fast. The throttle is much much more sensitive in acc but the brake is more realistic in iracing. Its a mix match thing but ive always felt like iracing came to me much quicker then acc did. To be at the top of acc its weird setups like extreme ones with things that don't feel real but make you very fast. If you dont do it you can't be at the top with the best. Yet on iracing you can adjust a few things and be putting in optimal laps.

Also people hate on iracing geaphics but to me it looks classic but still detailed. I like the look. I almost wish they would keep it classic im tried of insane graphics that do nothing for the actual game. I want one sim or 2 to stay classic. Luckily the graphics update coming won't ruin it but this new lighting crap imo is going to make games look over brightened and I don't like the lighting updates racing games do.

You have a good pace...keep it up and you will be out of rookies in no time and be able to compete in better classes races with faster people (higher splits). The racing gets cleaner in higher splits but obviously it gets harder as ppl are actually good XD.
