Freestyle Libre shown in this video IS NOT A CGM. This is misinformation. This device is 100% manual and not automatic. Dexcom makes CGMs. The difference between these two devices is significant. With the Freesty;e Libre, you must take action to know your blood glucose level. If you do not take action, neither you or the device will know what your glucose is. If you do not take action manually, you will have no idea what your glucose levels are. This is not a CGM. Dexcom, on the other hand, knows what your glucose levels are at all times without you taking any action. It is continuously reading your glucose levels automatically. This is a huge difference and what makes Dexcom a CGM and Freestyle Libre not one. Please correct the misinformation in this video.
ОтветитьWow. Super entertaining and useful video. Really like the format, and I really appreciate the info.
Ответитьi wear this now and just found out my sugar spike up to 389 after eating RICE esprecially during dinner. I love this thing! now I watch what I eat. I am btw pre-diabetic 5-6 years ago but I think I'm now full blown diabetic.
ОтветитьGo.carnivore and forget about spikes of glucose
ОтветитьI expected to see how different food affected your glucose level, not about sleep and stress😒...
ОтветитьWill you talk about how certain products made of wheat that are "keto" such as a pancake mix or the better bagel affect your blood glucose?
ОтветитьCan you go through metal detector with cgm on?
ОтветитьI tried a CGM. My arm got infected. Gangrene set in and they had to amputate my arm at the shoulder. You win some, you lose some. There are good days and bad days. You have to roll with the punches, especially when you only have one arm to punch back with. My advise would be to avoid Trump-brand CGM devices. Trump said it was the tremendous CGM, the greatest the world has ever seen. I am starting to think that Trump sometimes doesn't tell the truth. Maybe I am just being paranoid from all of the pain killers I take to dull the phantom nerve pain.
ОтветитьI love your video!! I liked how you demonstrated how to put the patch !! Nice demo!!
ОтветитьMy dad is a diabetic and his CGM has helped him really understand his diabetes even after years of having diabetes and being to every nutrition class, he can now see real time how what he eats affects his sugars and body. He has had so many strokes and his doctors have said his sugars are the reason why, if he controls his A1C levels he can control future stroke likelihood.
ОтветитьReally interesting - thank you 😊
ОтветитьWith the dexcom g6! It is continuous. You dont need to scan the cgm. As long as i stay within 45-50 feet kf my phone it scans. I can sit and watch it by the minute.
ОтветитьImagine if the Whoop arm band included an integrated CGM. I can't wait to see how the future of wearable health trackers evolves
Ответитьi'm about to try a CGM and your vids have been super-helpful. thank you!
ОтветитьShow us your white girlfriend, Shervin.
ОтветитьGot one based on your video. That said the only problem that I have is the amount of waste this one little tracker contributes.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing that my CGM won't get destroyed in a Sauna!
ОтветитьGreat video - but idk why you're acting like it's painful to apply haha you literally feel nothing when you put it on.
ОтветитьMorning exercise and fiber. Thanks!
Ответитьi using it for on my child it is good for some reason but sometimes reading not accurate
Ответитьbro i realy needed to coment again, 1 think your not taking into acount is, fats dont make a smaller spike on blood glucose, actually it makes you process carbs slower cause your body is eating the fats first, and you will probably use more insulin to digest that meal, so insted of looking for sugar spicks you should be worried about insuline amount needed to digest a meal, lots of times high fat meals with some carbs will make your body use more insuline then just carbs. thers a lot of the endocrine system your not considering, body does not process food the way most people think.
Ответитьhello, pls dont buy that verssion of freestyle, thats for type1 diabetics, you dont need that, that as a range from 40 to 500, thoes sensors are actualy not enouf for all type1 diabetics, so pls insted of buying that, consider the version thats made for sports, they have a smaller range like from 40 to 250, thats more then enouf for you and that way you wont actually be using a diabetic life saver. i do enjoy your video, and think that everyone should actualy use 1 but not that version.
ОтветитьPlease don't promote CGM usage to non diabetics. It is extremely crummy to make this kind of video especially when many diabetics can't afford these devices to survive, and the fact many many MANY diabetic based supplies that are sometimes shifted to weight loss almost always face supply shortages. It's also not recommended by any medical organization. Please google as to why this is harmful to diabetics.
ОтветитьIf you don’t mind me asking, how much do you weigh? I’ve lost a bunch of weight and have a physique I like.
ОтветитьI think its pretty cool but this is quite much waste i mean you can´t recharge those things. Would be cool i you could like wireless charge it or charge it via a supercapacitor
ОтветитьI dont think I've ever seen a non diabetic monitor glucose 247
ОтветитьI would have so loved if the new iwatch had a GCM (as rumored), this would have been such a revolution. I keep my glucose in check by being pretty much a carnivore
ОтветитьQuite funny how your videos affect my "things to buy" list. Keep em' comin'!
Ответитьdoes it hurt to put into your arm
ОтветитьShervin is like a real life David Martinez. Except instead of using his implants to kill people he uses it to acheive maximum recovery.
ОтветитьHey, did you read this book "How not to die" by Dr Michael Greger?
ОтветитьQuality info🔥 awesome video
ОтветитьMans is trying to turn into a cyborg
