I think I have coarse hair, but after 3 or 4 days, my roots get oily. So I'm confused if I'm medium or coarse. My hair is naturally curly, full of volume and I have high density. It gets frizz very easy with humidity too. Help me!
ОтветитьI'm 1A coarse hair! I have a lot of hair and wash about once a week. Needs hydration desperately to get silky. I have my hair cut in a modern, layered "shag" style that pretty much falls right into place when I blow dry it because it does what it wants (hairstylists have called it "sprung steel" in the past). Kudos to the wonderful woman who cuts my hair, we worked together to figure out the best cut for my hair type.
ОтветитьWhat if I have medium to coarse hair?
ОтветитьHelp! Is it possible for curly hair to be fine? Or is all curly hair course? My curls are 3a/3b
ОтветитьIn the redkin volume shampoo conditioner has sulphate in it and rubbing alcohol how is that good?!
ОтветитьPlease we need more natural curly hair tips
ОтветитьI followed how to remove brassy hair for brunettes and bought all the productss. I will not turn back! the products really made a difference and now im a fan!
ОтветитьDoes this go for curly hair too? I wash my hair 1x per week and the heavier products I use the better curls I have. I do not have course hair.
ОтветитьHuh. I feel like I am between medium and coarse? It is so confusing.
ОтветитьAww man I was trapped by a commercial lol. Sorry not giving my info
ОтветитьIs hair type really dependent on how long it takes to get oily? Ive always thought it's more about the texture of your hair. I thought I had course hair (looks exactly like the girls hair in your example...huge even if I straighten it, gets frizzy fast, and the texture is just not what you'd think of as fine). But my hair starts getting oily literally the day after I wash it. By day 3 it's so oily, flakey, and itchy but unless I have to go somewhere I still push to go a 4th day. But you'd describe it as fine hair? Maybe I should try the fine hair products just to see 🤷♀️
ОтветитьI feel like maybe the word “coarse” is a turn off, but coarse doesn’t mean “bad” or “ugly” i think course just refers to the shape of it.
Fine - it lays flat.
Medium - there’s some wave and most of it doesn’t lay flat.
Coarse - it can be wavy or curly - and it doesn’t lay flat against the head.
Some of my hair is fine - the stuff on the top.
Some of it is medium. Some of it is super curly which I take to mean - coarse.
I simply put more of the recommended products on the coarse parts and less on the fine bits parts.
It seems to be working.
Chris, what’s your hair type? Or does bald just discount hair type? 😂
ОтветитьFine (thin) hair, but curly, so doesn't get oily. Now I'm confused bc that doesn't fit in your category
ОтветитьI've recently started washing my hair every 7 days and it's been life-changing! I never thought I had coarse hair!
Ответитьany recommended shampoo and conditioner for balayage hair. I have dark hair, previously dyed and treated hair. thanks!
ОтветитьFinally, I managed my dandruff and hair fall.
First, Apply hair oil and let it for the night or at least 1 hour for it to work.
Secondly, Wash it off with shampoo.
Step 3: Put on conditioner that you prefer to the roots of your hair.
I used littleeextra cococonion anti hair fall kit for these steps as it's gentle and organic, and is considered gud for reducing hair loss.
If you also have dandruff, apply lemon juice on your scalp at least once a week prior to shampooing and wash it off about an hour later.
Where is your salon? I need your help lmao
ОтветитьI wasn't sure if I had medium or coarse hair (I have lots of volume, but also had oily hair), so I bought the products for fine/medium hair you recommended. They were a big improvement over the oxg products I was using, and I was able to a week without washing with some dry shampoo sprinkled in once during the week. But while oily hair was no longer a problem, dryness and frizz still remained. I used a hair mask which made a huge improvement instantly, so I decided to try the products for coarse hair. Another big improvement. The moccorian oil fixes my dry ends but doesn't weigh my hair down despite using a generous amount each morning. The frizz dimiss also reduced frizz significantly (and using an invis-bobble at night probably doesn't hurt)
ОтветитьI have relaxer in my hair what kind a product to used
ОтветитьWhat about the type A B and C?
ОтветитьI have medium hair and I can go a week without washing my hair and it smells amazing
ОтветитьI’m confused. I can go a week without washing, my hair doesn’t get greasy easily BUT I struggle with volume so I’m not sure which type my hair is?
ОтветитьI've tried to get the list like 5 times already and it wont get to my inbox or spam folder
ОтветитьI have not ever heard you address AGED HAIR! Yes. Women who are over 50 or 60 yrs. of age. We have unique problems such as thinning hair due to age and non-existent hormones. Do you even work with older women? I am 76 yrs. old (told I look much younger, as I am vegan and walk 10,000 steps every morning), have been blond all my life - natural for the better part of it, but enhanced with color products. (I'm obstinately blond😅) My hair has always been one of my best features. Now, it is thin, dry and will not hold a style. I have been told by several stylists that my hair is coarse. It never gets oily.
I also moved to the beach 5 yrs. ago where the heat and humidity are ALWAYS high. I need a hair plan for me, with products that are vegan and not tested on animals. (Redken does not qualify!) ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE!!?? 😊
I would have said I have fine hair, but it doesn't get oily in a few days....but it will not hold volume or curls which would make me think it's not medium. So confused. I'm using the recommended products now, I think my hair looks awesome. Still wish my curls would last more than an hour 😭. I think I was using the thermal heat spray wrong, going to try putting in on each section at the top and brushing it through to the bottom before trying it at the top and the bottom and brushing it through.
I was told my barrel is too big (1 1/2") but I like the really big curls. Should I be using 1"?
I live in NJ where it is humid or raining lol
I've been using everything on your list for fine hair, and this hair transformation has made me feel so confident and sassy. Thank you!! ❤😊
ОтветитьI use Renpure products and they used to be perfect for my hair. But they recently changed their recipe to be "for all hair types" and now it's as destructive on my hair as everything else. :(
ОтветитьPlease do a video exclusively for fine curly hair. Loved the brush cleaning video! Total game changer!
ОтветитьCan‘t you divide the hair into Afro, Caucasian, Asian? I‘m just askin. I think i do have fine to medium hair
ОтветитьI need a recommendation for my frizzy hair please 😢
ОтветитьFor the people who have medium hair, which shampoo and conditioner do you use for success?
ОтветитьHair type does change. I went from straight hair to 2a/2b hair recently and I'm in my 30s.
ОтветитьHis link doesn't work
ОтветитьWhat if I have fine hair- oily hair but also wavy hair. Most products to style wavy/ curly hair make my hair very greasy.
ОтветитьI don't get it, is coarse hair the same as tick hair? English is not my first language... my hair is very fine, but it doesn't have the traits said here of fine hair, have some of coarse, so how do we know where we are in this classification?
ОтветитьMedium: they are ok just 3 days, sometimes 4. But its true when I iron them, also 4 days are ok.
ОтветитьThe fine hair description used to fit my hair perfectly. I had to wash every 3-4 days. But now that I'm in my late 60's with menopause behind me. I only wash once a week & have gone even longer when traveling. About day 6, the hair on top of my head starts to feel oily although it still looks OK. I'm looking forward to trying your method.
ОтветитьI thought there were 4 hair types. 🤔I guess you don’t deal with type 4 hair.
ОтветитьI must be weird my hair only needs washing once a week I can leave it up to ten days, and I always believed my hair was fine. Never had a greasy hair day in my life and I am now 64 and up to my last cut my hair was waist length not quite so long now had a couple of inches chopped of during my annual hair cut.😊

ОтветитьI find that the hair at my roots is more on the fine side, but mid to ends is very coarse.
ОтветитьLol I have the volume of fine hair and the wash cycle of coarse hair 😂 so I guess that would make me a medium?
Ответитьi have course, dry hair but most moisturizing products just sit on it and make it all sticky and gross 🙁 anybody got any tips?
ОтветитьI have thin/fine straight hair… and I don’t think I can go 3-4 days without washing it… by the second day afternoon, it’s already super oily…
ОтветитьWhy do I have both coarse and fine hair ? My upper Hairs are coarse
ОтветитьWhen you find that hair soul mate, you KNOW. When I took the quiz, I thought my hair was medium. Bought the Redken, did the routine, and scalp was itchy and hair frizzy with flyaways. Too dry. Ok. So then I tried the coarse hair routine. From the very first day, it made a HUGE difference! My hair stayed clean for 5 days, did do dry shampoo 6th day, washed again on 8th day. No problems! And for the first time ever, my overnight curls held all week, just becoming softer waves by the last day, but still was there. Not flat, lifeless, and boring at all. After the second wash day with the coarse hair routine, my husband said, "Did you get a haircut? Your ends look really even." Nope. Haven't had a cut. Just found the right routine for my hair.
So if you try one routine and it doesn't seem right for you, try another. That might make all the difference in the world.
Coarse here. I can go EASLY 10 says without Washing my hair
ОтветитьI have a job that required me to do heavy lifting and work outside. I get sweaty and dirty at work. So going a week without washing sweaty dirty hair doesn't make scense for me. You wash your hair when it's dirty not by how many days have passed.
Also density and hair texture are very different. You can have course hair without having allot of it 😅
I think I medium here but I don’t know😂
