AWESOME!! This is the first time I've seen someone show Masters of Reality - killer, thank you!
ОтветитьKing's X.....back in high school, I played the hell outta Gretchen.......25 years later and Gretchen is still being played LOTS!
ОтветитьHey I know that Donny Hathaway bass line, super funky. Love that Rhino Records funky box set, that would be some fun music. Great to see Tragically Hip represented. Nice showing of CDs, love the wall of CDs behind you. Steve
ОтветитьI wish you had pick a different cd completing 20 years, to avoid repeating artist, other than that what an awesome video, David! Very informative, as always. Great picks, specially that thick box, looks awesome.
ОтветитьCDs count in my book. We're all just connecting through music. Enjoyed the Sting reading. Love the bass! Shampoo Horn next to most anything is funny. That Funk box set is awesome. I need to give Tragically Hip some time. I really dig early YES. I was curious on your drummer thoughts.
ОтветитьNot unusual that I don't know many of these
ОтветитьI will have to checkout Band Wagon.
the 1st copy of Time and a Word you showed of course has the band members including Steve Howe, which he didn't join Yes until the next record, The Yes Album; I actually have a Vinyl copy of that and Pink Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn from France (Vinyl) that has David Gilmour on the cover.
Love all the Sam Taylor King's X albums.
Didn't know Hogarth's band did "Dry Land" but I should have given I've been a Marillion fan since 1995. But thanks for the tip.
Greetings from Asbury Park is a pretty good record, and I love all the Springsteen records from the 70's. I knew Manfred Man covered Blinded by the Light, but didn't know about For You (I'll have to check out their version, thanks!)
The Tea Club is so enjoyable. Really liked both times I was lucky enough to see them and have all of their recorded music (I think).
