On one hand I don't understand why white people were offended by the diversity dance. I quite enjoyed it and it sent a message.
On the other hand, I think kids need to still think they are safe with the police, and shouldn't have to worry that the police are against anyone because of the colour of their skin.
I'm lucky enough to have been raised to not see the differences in people, whether it's colour, religion or security, but it does make it harder for me to understand why people are so focused on those things.
