Hey Larry,
I just tasted my first batch and it came out phenomenal. Everyone loved it. Your American IPA is a fantastic recipe. I was skeptical about the orange peel because the Samual Adams summer brew doesn't go well with the citrus since its an amber beer, but it works great in yours. Thanks a trillion Larry! I couldn't have done it without your great videos. I suffered a brain injury in the military and your visual aids were spot on even with my memory disability. BTW, thanks for the precision advice. My second batch was an efficiency of 81%. It's not hard, just takes time to do all grain brewing. I'm going to do two more batches using your recipe. Over the summer, I hope to create something of my own. I'll keep in touch. Thanks again!
How long does the beer last in an active keg before it goes bad?
Ответитьi notice you have a wine thief-But do you have shoes?
ОтветитьArkadaşım ekipmanlar çok iyi ve mükemmel sonuç.Tadını çok merak ediyorum.Tebrikler...
ОтветитьI just found out your videos its really awesome!! I have one question, how long will the beer last? For commercial purpose do i have to pasteurize it?
ОтветитьSomeone told me you have a beer line length calculator, what episode is that on? Thanks
ОтветитьThanks! 👍
ОтветитьIs your auto siphon in the sediment on the bottom? I guess it would settle out in the keg and below the pickup tube? Thoughts? Watching you drink that beer makes me very thirsty, you should have recorded you enjoying the whole thing!
ОтветитьCHIIIIIEEEEEEEF :D Thanks for the videos!
ОтветитьLOVE the Labbatt’s Blue sign in the background, my staple!!! I wanna learn a good recipe for that!
Ответитьsometimes homebrew tastes like inferior homebrew and sometimes its incredible. i just sampled some brews at a brewing supply store that were amazing. i honestly dont really like anything i buy at the store or on tap anywhere compared to those..
ОтветитьNice. Just found your channel. regular guy! Where did you get the "siphon" pump that transfers beer from carboy to key? Thanks!
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьApparently 81 people don’t like syphoning off the beer. Weird.
Ответитьso you do not prime the beer with sugar?
ОтветитьGreat video man!
ОтветитьI like your no non sense approach, we’re making home brew for fun and that’s all that matters
ОтветитьU never purge the keg initially to get rid of the oxygen when carbonated
ОтветитьTesting the gravity technique! Now I know, thank you!! I didn't want to put the hydrometer into the carboy and lose it for hours risking contamination. This is my first brew, it's burping every 7 seconds on the dot. 36 hours into an APA fermentation.
Ответитьhow long do i need to carbonate the keg to pressurize it?
Ответитьenjoyed the video, maybe I missed it but was hoping you could share the brand/model of that keg you used.
Ответитьhehe now i wana have a sip
ОтветитьWhere did you get that kegerator? Looks amazing
ОтветитьHi Larry, how long would you usually let to carbonate and chill before drinking?
Ответитьwow you overcarb your beers
ОтветитьHey Larry! Love your vids man. Quick question: my wort stopped fermenting at 1.020. OG was 1.060. I'm not sure what happened there, maybe I didn't pitch enough yeast. Do you think I can still carbonate it in bottles with some priming sugar, or should I invest in a keg and carbonate it with that? Cheers man!
ОтветитьLove it!!! Mmm thanks for watching video ends, Larry has to finish a beer 🍺 cheers 🍻
ОтветитьThanks for the video Larry looks great! How much psi did you use to carbonate the keg and for how many days? Thanks in advance
ОтветитьLOVE the music! It would be fun sitting on YOUR deck throwing a few down & listening to tunes...
ОтветитьWhy is home brew so cloudy
ОтветитьQuestion for you. I recently started kegging and I’m having an issue with carbonation. I’ve checked and all my fittings are tight, no leaks, and CO2 is on. I get good head on the beer but very minimal co2 bubbles in the beer itself and i can’t figure out why. I’ve tried force carbonating and just waiting with a lower psi. Can you think of anything that might be causing this?
ОтветитьI think I'd rather rack it off the lees, fine it and then keg the resulting clear beer.
ОтветитьHow long will the beer stay fresh in the keg? How much Co2 pressure did you pump into the beer
ОтветитьDO you still add priming sugar before siphoning into the keg?
ОтветитьIf you make a 5 gallon batch can you use a 5 gallon keg or does it need to be larger? Thanks
Ответить2 days and it's carbonated? what did you set your psi to?
ОтветитьDo you cold crash your beer?
ОтветитьHi Larry,
Really enjoyed watching your home brew videos. But couldn’t find a video on beer filtering. Could you please record a session of the same.
Thanks
You guys are the best! Thank you
ОтветитьDo you think it is okay to get a refurbished keg? It says they are pressure tested and everything, but say they won't look brand new.
ОтветитьGood video Larry, I just got my first keg system. It’s a single tap Insignia from Best Buy. Looks just like yours.
ОтветитьLarry, I'm watching you rack into
your Cornie. Why not put a shot
of Co2 in, before you rack over?
That way, you don't have to worry
about oxidizing the beer.
steve
Very uninformative. You didn't go through how you kegged at all. Temp setting? CO2 pressure? Timeline?
ОтветитьGreat video ! I have a question; why homebrewed beer causes headaches? with just a couple of glasses I mean? Did something went wrong, or something?
Ответитьregarding the sentiment in the bottom of the glass jug where the beer fermented, can you also put that in the keg or not?
ОтветитьOh yeah yeah😃
ОтветитьHello Larry !!! I'm finishing forming my Homebrew equipment !!! Thank you very much for your videos! They have helped me understand a lot about the beer making process. I send you greetings from Asunción - Paraguay, in the heart of South America !!! Daniel Sánchez
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant series of videos! Thank you very much for putting these together.
ОтветитьHi Harry, see no sugar ( 6g/L) is added when kegging...is this right?
Ответитьso you don't have to add sugar then? also can i put the keg and c02 tank in my beer fridge and leave it at say 3 to 4 celsius, the c02 carbonates it then right,i just bought a keg and will follow with all that is needed
Ответить
