This fight srill looks really good in terms of animation and lighting goes to show how well toei can do when they have a good budget as opposed to the 5th episode of super where they make him look like an idiot wasting time using ssj2

It's funny seeing Goku on the recieving end for once. Beerus treated Goku here the same way Goku treated the Ginyu Force.

DB Super was way better than Battle of the Gods, but I must say this fight scene was definitely more epic than the one from Super.

This is the fight that showed Beerus that Goku can attain Ultra Instinct as Goku dodged Beerus's attack only because of his potential to unlock it.

Many fans overlooked that part. Goku actually used UI in it.

Everything goku was in dbz was thrown out the window. All the experience was non existence.

Why doesn't Goku stop glowing after he transforms into SS3. Makes him look pixilated while fighting.

Beerus is such a dick knocking Goku out like that, then whistling while walking away 🤣🤣

One of the only times Goku went all out from the very beginning. He loves fighting but can't help that he's reached levels stronger than most. So for him to throw caution to the wind, and have his attempts at hitting Beerus go completely unaccounted for is just something else. And its funny cos he still hadn't fully turned to find Beerus before he got chopped and have his consciousness blasted out of his body.

One great detail I rarely see people mention is how much of a good sportsman Beerus is here. Even though he knows full well that Goku has absolutely zero chance against him, he doesn't belittle or mock him like many other villains would, simply telling him to try his best. Even the whistling at the end doesn't seem like it's done in a mocking way, more-so just Beerus being his usual care-free self.
