LMAO Comparing Izzy and Silva is ridiculous if you talk about them being in their prime. Izzy just dropped the title for the second time and went 4-3 in the last 3 years. The one guy in his prime couldn't get touched, the other spends half of film day watching pokemon and naruto like a 12 year old.

Do this vid in a few yrs an Bones will be the most dominant champ in LHW + HW history if he doesn’t retire or get popped by USADA and both are equally likely 🤷🏻‍♂️

Look the only reason why Rousey was the first is because Dana White had a personal relationship with her. All this credit she gets is ridiculous. Gina Carano, Cyborg, were crushing it long before Rousey. The difference is Dana doesn't like them. Her win streak was a product of hand picking fights for her, and a quality of talent in the division at the time. As soon, as she went against someone who knew what they were doing on the feet she got crushed... and the entire time she acted like a spoiled child.

now, from all these guys and girls, who would be MOST important to UFC?

Might be Chuck Liddell.

I don’t understand how you could possibly compare khabib with olivera,Islam,or for that matter any LW champ I’ll give you bj but even him …I just don’t see the comparison… no tarnished legacy, left on top, undefeated and not even close!? How do you compare to that ??

Faber was one of the few champions who avoided a bloated ego. There are a few others, Demetrious being another one; but I've had several friends meet Uriah, both during and after his prime competition years, and they uniformly say he was the most down to earth and friendly guy you could ever meet.

I never watched UFC when I was younger, but I knew about it, and every time I thought "UFC" my mind immediately went to Chuck Liddell. Surely the most iconic figure of the sport in the 2000s.

I would say Connor is the most important Featherweight of all time, because of the impact he had on the whole combat sports world, coming from his meteorotic rise through the featherweight division. His persona alone blew up the sport, his opponents where somewhat only secondary

Hard agree on all of those... until the last one. Cain revolutionized the way we think of Heavyweights. He showed us that it takes athleticism and cardio to get the job done consistently.

While maybe not the most influential, I would say Frankie Edgar was amazing for lightweight, and Lyoto Machida at Light Heavy, despite his very short stint as champ, and Robby Lawler deserves a mention at least.
