Where do they get the pricing? Ancestral Recall for 150k?!? I haven’t seen them in a few years but the most I saw alpha for was 25k and beta was like half? Have they really gone up that much?!?

If anyone ever tells you that a piece of cardboard is worth a 150K, just know you are being lied to, and for believing it, you are a part of the problem.

Didn't chum say he would split the difference if they found a rare card in the deck? That's what it sounded like, if not, then the owner got hosed on that deal (royally).

Lol. The only card worth 150k is a pack fresh 9.5 beta lotus. A beta ancestral recall is 20k if its a 9.5. The problem is that most alpha/beta cards arent going to be 9.5. Chum gave him a great price. If it was alpha then 40k would be a great price. The expert should of traced the buyer lineage and then that gives you a really good idea whether there is a probability it is fake or not. Ive never heard "lets open the sealed product. Because that basically destroys the value of the product. The thought that there could be a black lotus in there is what makes the product valuable. He should of traced the buyer/owner lineage and then kept it sealed.

As the seller, I'd have said, I'll split any power 9 and dual + $25k instead of just black lotus. But hindsight!

I watched the first couple seasons of this show. Haven't really watched in like a decade or more. Honestly, I'm just happy to see Chum doing good.

Am I the only one who thinks those cards look more like Alpha then Beta? He also said a 1100 print run for the rare, which is what it was for Alpha and Beta had like 3 times as many.
