Whoah! First!
Ответитьgreat job 40 years playing and I never thought to put the distortion after the reverb Duh! lol
ОтветитьCool pedal! Your gift of melody is astounding! All those sweet notes in your solos. Informative AND entertaining! I use the Rumble seat from Anolog Alien. It voices the old Fender Blackface amp"s reverb. You should demo it so I can learn to dial it in properly! 😄
ОтветитьI dislike using reverb that's not from an amp. I refuse to consider amps that lack reverb.
ОтветитьWow dude...it's not the pedals that are cool...nice playing. Thanks for always reminding me how much I suck!!!! 😂😆😉
ОтветитьThis is a great sounding reverb, I was wondering if there is a set and forget type reverb out there that doesn't change character when switching from clean to dirty. This seems to do just that.
ОтветитьGreat playing!! I do not use a reverb pedal, I have a reverb tank in my amp. If I were to use a pedal, it sounds like this one would be the one for me! Excellent demo and outstanding playing!!
ОтветитьGreat playing as always!!! I love your funky style man!!! I personally use the ehx Holy Grail, i really dig the Flerb setting! Love your demos... cheers from Italy!! ;-)
ОтветитьJust bought the MXR Reverb for my board. I use the Spring setting for that Albert King sound.
ОтветитьI love that reverb sound especially on last dance with marry Jane. I use the reverb on my crate blue voodoo and hot rod deville but I'm definitely looking to get a reverb pedal and this might just fit the bill
ОтветитьYou have rapidly become my favorite gear reviewer!
ОтветитьI use a Walrus Audio Fathom and love it! Great, versatile little verb.
ОтветитьI use the Catalinbread Topanga at the front of my board (before OD) to get that drippy surf or western sound. That's where the Fender 6G15 spring reverb tanks used to placed: in front of the amp. I also have the SolidGoldFX Surf Rider III in my FX Loop which I use for more basic reverb sounds. Great playing and information as usual, Jay. Keep rockin'!
ОтветитьI rewatched this just to hear that opening salvo again... Wow!
ОтветитьI felt like I was in a Kill Bill fight scene with that surf intro!! Always a joy to watch a JLJ video
ОтветитьHi!!! My friend, in your opinio, is this pedal noisy? Thanks and keep give us your nice videos!
ОтветитьYou’re such a great player! And that Yamaha sounds fantastic also.
ОтветитьHi JLJ. Loved your playing and demos since I first saw you on a Tone Specific jazz video. I think this approach of 3 favorite/different settings is perfect for a pedal of this style, and I will definitely be trying to pair a darker sounding reverb with a bright delay now! Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьSpring reverb for my Fender clean and slightly overdriven tones and Digital for my Marshall tones.
ОтветитьHey great demo! How does this compare to the spring mode on the Wampler Reflection?
ОтветитьNice work.. showing us all how to get more from our purchase.
ОтветитьWould the Faux Spring be anything significantly different than the 60s Reverb on the Strymon Flint? Currently have the Flint, but I wanted to get a 2nd surfy sounding reverb to put pre-dirt on my board. I want it to be splashy, bring, surfy, without an obviously digital sounding trail.
Ответитьgreat playin'!
ОтветитьGreat tone nice playing , 🏄♂️ 🤙🤙
ОтветитьIf I’m looking for a gear demo...there’s 3 people that I go too. You, Andy and living room demo. If all 3 of you sound close, I know it’s a great pedal for me.
Blessings bro.
Man your playing is amazing 😁👍, congrats!! I hacee a photo with you ay NAMM 2020.
ОтветитьDoes the MINI FAUX SPRING REVERB have a buffer the same as the full size faux did? I can’t seem to find that info anywhere
ОтветитьHave this mini and the original size. I like the original size pedal a lot better. Got the mini for board space but will sell and keep original. Nice demo.
