sonic fanbase is not small, but quiet, there are around 500 millions of players or more, much more, no joke, but most of them are out (now) or don't care about the new games, community and etc, they just consume the old content or are doing something else, so, if they unite to take and down genshin, they would smash it without any problem and also they can destroy the genshin game server too, if they want. but they are old and more mature, that is why they are quiet.

the part of the rank 8 from your rank is not the sonic fanbase itself, is the mario fanbase that consume sonic, they create r34 content and etc, sonic fans most of them love the game but they don't give a sht to r34, h, nsfw things, for them these things just not exist... well, the current sonic fanbase how it is the mario fanbase with sonic today, everything make sense, because sonic and mario fans was almost the same, the difference is that the mario fanbase is the sonic fanbase with dru*gs, no joke, they use some. the mushroom must be in game people don't use it in real life.

how i discovered that they are mario fanbase is weird, but yes, i made a investigation, but by accident, and found out that all sonic players that i was talking was mario fans, the real sonic fanbase today are somewhere working or taking care of a family, beside they have the same age, the mario fanbase that consume sonic today, are still living like they had 10yo, even they being 40yo.

i play much more genshin today than sonic, i can say, 60%+ of genshin community is fake accounts, are repeated players, i played this thing since it released and we find the same players after a while, we can't find too much players in truth, also 2 and 10 of them are the same guy. anyway, how they can fake the statistics and numbers, they can create fake accounts to looks like they are superior, even with no bots, they can "win" with fake accounts that they already have and they can't be detected as bots...

i am a genshin player, so, i HAVE to say, they lie, don't mess with them because they know how to fake anything. and who fake it is around 20% to 40% of the players? around this, they are what i call "invaders", they are the public from cellphones, they are weird, they find anything "nsfw" even being clean, they have some mental problems, they hate teh genshin main theme but still play and still defend it, they are not the most players, far to be, but they have many accounts. so, the sonic fanbase was not that wrong, they hit the point, but the active part can't do anything, the old fanbase have to drop the md and start to like some better games, how they refuse to evolve, who like sonic today can't do much more

Most genshin player is a kpop fan too, so you got the most unhinged out of unhinged. Don't mess with them, i had aneurysm once dealing with one of them

I wasn't even aware that this was all going on, and I'm actually glad I didn't know. There are other things in the world that should be given way more importance than fanbases trying to prove their worth

The rule with Gensin fandom is that once the name is invoked you are bound to get them hounding after you. Even worst if there are rumors that we may get some extra juicy primos.

I visited the Genshin Impact discord server. I must say that the majority of the community is atrocious. This server is the definition of the server where 'anime fans' from all other parts of the internet congregate to hate on anything and everything good and lewd on any female character

Bro, I was hanging in /gig/ (4chan's Genshin General discussion thread) during the votings. People were pissing themselves in laughter screenshotting the malding Sonic fans on various Discords. It was to die for! So many people assembled reaction face edits, soyjaks, and other hilarious stuff.
At some point, a few Sonic fans tried to spoil the mood by posting weird porn/gore in our thread, but that ended up backfiring just as much, as their General Thread was turned into a nuclear wasteland for almost two days beyond the VGA show. And we sure as hell didn't want to make up and get along, we wanted to make sure they'll never forget. It eventually died down, but those scars will take a few years to heal.
