Back tested this strategy following all rules, win rate it not even remotely close to 70% win rate is 34% to be exact and i was only using 1:2 risk to reward. Imagine adding the 1:5 🤣🤣

Actually backtesting this. The win rate is pretty much 50%. You're lucky to break even, and definitely not worth the time.

Mah. RSI crosses very often, giving so many confirmations even to the bad signals. I suggest to use a higher RSI period, over 70, and perform multiple test first.

Why did trader edge say your R:R was 2:1 when this strategy was supposed to be a 5:1 RR?

I would suggest modifying your risk management so that when the price reaches 1:1 then move the SL to just inside profit (to cover the broker cost). That way, even if the trade doesn't reach 1:5 and reverses then it still won't be a loss (improves your liquidity and drawdown). The principle being if it reaches 1:1 then its highly likely it will go higher (hence 1:1.5 being so popular)
