ОтветитьIn under a minute he gave and "explanation" that neither explains anything or points to any possible practical use for the knowledge. Nearly every scientific advancement that has benefitted humanity over the last 400 years (the most prolific period for advancement in human history) is based on classical mechanics. Quantum mechanics is "conjectural physics".
ОтветитьCongratulations, everyone just dropped out of physics 👍
ОтветитьIt must be quite hard for them to have insightful conversation with rest of us.
ОтветитьЧто это за хуйня???
ОтветитьIt makes sense if you already know quantum mechanics but it makes no sense if you do not know, some things, just cannot be explained simple shortly.
ОтветитьMy mother did it better. She showed me in 10 seconds that her woodstick and my head could not share the same place at the same time, Pauli principle.
ОтветитьSo again, what is quantum mechanics?
Ответить🎉🎉
ОтветитьThe wave or string that remembers pass spins
ОтветитьWOW so the hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy was correct................the amazing improbability drive exists LOL
ОтветитьDistracted by the shine.
ОтветитьThese two guys are totally awesome! Them and Michio Kuku are by far my favorite physicists.
Ответитьtohid8496
ОтветитьQuantum mechanics is much more amazing and mind blogging than this one minute single example explanation.
ОтветитьCan we make a statue of this guy please
Ответитьexplanation sucks, should have explained how it connects to reality via max plank and the German government wanting a better lightbulb and Einsteins photelectric theory for which he won the nobel prize; this chronological explanation gives one a better appreciation for the subject and you go from being bewildered by insensitive stiff -necked know-it-alls to appreciating that nature does some strange stuff for which we have to change models as much as we change clothes
ОтветитьHuh
Ответитьso what
Ответитьaaaaaaand… I STILL don't know what it is.
ОтветитьWow, the most obtuse, convoluted and opaque scientific theory explained in under 60 seconds.
ОтветитьCan Mr. Cox also share his AM-PM skin routine please? 😅
ОтветитьThe probability of an electron being somewhere else is 1.
That makes me a quantum physics maestro 🥳🥳
This guy gives me the creeps. Creepy fecker
ОтветитьI actually understood and believed everything he said, and then I tilted my head and lost all information... bummer.
ОтветитьQuantum Mechanics for Dummies.
ОтветитьTBH, never in my life 60 seconds feel so long
ОтветитьI moved from my bathroom to my bed. I'm a quantum mechanic 👨🔧
ОтветитьQuantum entanglement 😅
ОтветитьRodney Mullen not only defines the laws of physics on a skateboard, but also explains quantum physics effortlessly. What a legend 🛹 🌌
ОтветитьI think I get it… (I don’t get it)
ОтветитьWho at 60 minutes is letting him look greasy
ОтветитьCox is far too precious.
ОтветитьI was supposed to have a date with a physicist. After watching this video I cancelled it. I am afraid she gonna know I am dumb.
ОтветитьYup.
ОтветитьWell, that’s cleared that up.
ОтветитьBrian explains why idiots are called scientists
ОтветитьBy allah's force this happens, just❤
ОтветитьIt's like me trying to explain the importance of a regular bed time to my kid's
ОтветитьOkay, now explain it to me like in a parallel universe where i understand it like A 3 year old
ОтветитьWHAAAAAAT???????😳😭💔
ОтветитьHe is a child. He isn’t intelligent. He is a shill. Magicians will be magicians 🎉
ОтветитьIf it can it will what are the probabilities that it will
ОтветитьIts very good explanation !
ОтветитьOkay, now explain it to me like I’m 5
ОтветитьJust last month, scientists admitted, through new telescope evidence, that the whole Big Bang Theory was wrong. And Brian Cox was all over the media admitting "We got it wrong".
In some future time, I fully expect to see Brian Cox explaining "Quantum Mechanics: We got it wrong".
… so it is a theory based on probability… yes? So how come an apple tastes better than let’s saga nail or a shoe or a worm?
Ответитьsorry I will need another 60 years and then I may still not get it
Ответить42
ОтветитьAnything to do with quanta is highly fascinating to me... this was a great way to explain to tbh...
