A clueless kid with a camera filmed through the car windows during a car ride and made a video about it. A year later this video has surpassed 400k views and the comment section is full of people of trying to find closure from the loss of their loved ones. I stopped responding under this particular video because it was too heartbreaking for me to read these stories of grieving. However some nights I visit this place and I respond to these wonderful people and I can say with certainty that under this video lies one of the most beautiful places on the internet. Thank you Internet Friends, I'm forever humbled and still a kid with a camera.

ОтветитьYou are littlerally mad of stardust.
Planetary scientist and stardust expert Dr Ashley King explains.
'It is totally 100% true: nearly all the elements in the human body were made in a star and many have come through several supernovas.'
Most of the elements that make up the human body were formed in stars
Our DNA is made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and phosphorus. All those elements (except hydrogen, which has existed since shortly after the big bang) are made by stars and released into the cosmos when the stars die.
Ripeness is the first moment of decay. Sweetness is the promise of corruption. In other words you are the result of a star reincarnated, and when you depart from this journey to your next. The stardust and its elements of your body return to its state of origin.
CONTEXT: best friend since birth, born on the same day in the same ward. Not dead, but been a heroin addict for nearly a decade, had to cut ties nearly 7 years ago.
Wherever you are, Justin, we never forgot you. You're still in our minds when we workout, when we win, when we make good things happen. You are forgiven, I just hope you have a warm place to sleep tonight. Thank you for making my childhood what it was, and teaching me what I need to be taught, exactly when I needed to be taught it. I love you so much, brother. I wish I knew where you were
im so sick living my life
ОтветитьDo not at mine. Then again a lot will be saying thank God that is over. Lolll.

...i did not die
ОтветитьOne of my close friends just ended their life a few days ago and this was all I could think about. I didn’t have enough time with him to express how important he was to us and then it happened. I don’t know what to do or think. All I feel is pain and sorrow from his death. I pray that anyone who is suicidal please reach out. You may think yourself alone but there is always someone that cares about you. Please find help in family, friends, or even the hotline. But please don’t take your own life. You have so much to live for.
ОтветитьI have two dogs that are alive and well. One of them is a puppy, we got him about a year ago now. The other one is nearing 12 and I know she isn't gonna be with us for much longer. Seeing all these videos of people spending their last day with their dogs, I dunno man... I don't know what i'm gonna without her. She's been with me nearly since I was born, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Some people say grief is the price of love, and if you grieve, it means you have loved and you've been loved. I don't want anyone in my life to go away, i wish I could just freeze time and keep everything as it is, even though i know that's not possible. One good way to look at it is that even if she doesn't have much left, i'm gonna make it the best part of her life.

ОтветитьMARY ELIZABETH FRYE of Baltimore Maryland did write this poem on the back of a brown paper grocery bag for her friend and neighbour who she went grocery shopping with regularly. Her friend's mother died in Germany and she could not go to funeral due to circumstances at that time in 1930. After they returned from one of their shopping trips, she wrote this poem for her because her friend could not stop crying over the loss of her mom and that she wasn't able to go to see her in Germany. Mary felt so badly for her, that she sat down at her kitchen table and wrote this poem. She gave it to her friend and said if I give you this poem, would you try to stop crying?
I met her when she was 94 years old, on her birthday I flew down to her home to sing her the poem in a song I composed for the poem. CBC radio reporter, Kelly Ryan, from Halifax, NS. did a radio documentary on the poem. I had sung it at the Swiss Air Crash memorial for families on the weekend of the crash. I mentioned that it was a poem that was by anonymous as found in the Boston Globe. After the news report on cbc tv. a friend of Mary Frye contacted me to say that the poem was written by Mary E Frye and that she was still alive. She gave me her contact info and we set up a time to visit her and for Kelly to record her.
Mary's daughter Linda lived with her and confirmed this story. I have no doubt that she wrote this.
She told me that many many people over the years used the poem without permission or credit give to her. I asked her permission to sing her poem and she said yes. As long as you do not profit from it, because it will lose its power to heal and help people. She asked if I ever did receive money for it, to donate it to the SPCA or an animal shelter.
She wrote it in 1930.

ОтветитьI like the Libera version sung by Tom Cully. They credit it to the late Robert Prizeman.
ОтветитьI just cannot contain myself every time i stand in front of him, his grave. He’d known me for my whole life until the moment he was not there anymore. I can’t really tell what i was crying for. Life was harsh on him, he never had the chance to do what he really wanted, and now he’s freed. Shouldn’t i be happy? Yet still, I cry. Maybe this was the perspective that i should’ve been looking at. He’s still here, just merged into the smallest dust of life.
I miss him. Not everyday but just at some point, I’d think of him and cry, so hard that i just cant think. He is my uncle, but he’ll always be a dad to me, my second dad.
Ok
ОтветитьNot a problem, I've got better things to do!!

ОтветитьYou never talked after the stroke. They tell me now that you had dementia, but they never told me so when you were alive. You made me uncomfortable, because I remembered the Jia-Gong I knew before, and that was not you.
I think a great deal of my grief was from hating myself.

ОтветитьDo not stand at my grave and weep,
For in the hearts of loved ones, I still keep.
I am not confined to earth's embrace,
But in the boundless realms of space.
I am the laughter in a child's eyes,
The whispered secrets of clear blue skies.
I am the strength in a friend's embrace,
The love that time and distance cannot erase.
I am the echo of your favorite song,
In the melodies that linger on.
I am the warmth of the morning sun,
The adventures that have just begun.
When you feel the gentle breeze's touch,
Know that I love you so very much.
I am the memories that bring you cheer,
In the stories you share with those who are near.
I am the courage that helps you stand,
The guiding force, a helping hand.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
For in your heart, I'll never say goodbye.
I am not there; I did not die,
In your love and memories, I continue to fly.
we once went out with our bestest friends to go out and play for the last time and we didn't know it

love this poem
My mom died when I was 27. This was over 15 years ago. It destroyed me. I'm tired of fighting the darkness.
