A new MacBook Air Is all the power I would ever need, but I want some more exciting colors.

i want a Mack Book Air and an iPhone for hubby.I only need an M1 for what I do, But I'm worried about how long they will continue to support it. I wish you would do a video explaining the upgrades in software and support. I downloaded the latest Big Sur night before last. My computer worked fine before the download, but then I lost all color on my safari favorites.The Print below the icon is so small that I go by the icon or the letter color. I shut it down a couple of times, but no dice. Called AppleCare and spent almost an hour with someone who sounded and acted about 12 who kept saying my 2015, 12" was very old and that's why I had the problem. The next day I talked to another advisor who helped me install a malware program to check it, then checked every setting that might be doing it. I maintained that it was a bug, because it was fine before I downloaded the next upgrade. Finally he checked with his senior supervisor, who had the latest of everything, and told my advisor that the same thing was happening to his favorites.
Now I'm wondering how long the 2020 M1 will be supported. Any thoughts on that, Matt?

For 2023 would love to see apple's take on a dual screen laptop like the asus zenbook duo, aimed towards creators that use adobe products, final cut, logic pro x,... Keep up the great quality Matt, i learn a lot from your videos!

Really thinking about picking up a new Mac Mini!

The thermal test there was useless. It was using encoding engines versus cpu and gpu. I would recommend going to H265 to actually do a correct comparison of proper thermals and record fan speeds average and max.

Thanks, good to know. I don’t agree with the cooling assessment of the Mac mini, Apple seems to be building a synthetic hierarchy… IMO. Keep’m coming.

I wish more game devs would port their stuff to Apple. I used a 2019 mac pro for a while and had little choices for gaming although I'm sure the hardware is more than adequate to play triple A titles right?
