Russia occupied and enslaved (or tried to enslave) all its neighbors. The USSR was not formed voluntarily, as Belarus or Ukraine already proclaimed their independence, while Moldova (with a Romanian majority) requested the help and later actually voted to join Romania. The Baltic States never requested to be part of the USSR, they were annexed.

Russians tried to colonize us and then cry about waking up in a foreign country. First of all, it did not happen overnight, as it was a process that took years. Secondly, all these regions voted for their independence.

The collapse of the USSR was the best thing that could happen for all people in Europe that desired freedom and democracy... and we should press for the dissolution of the Russian Empire thay enslaves people from the Caucasuses and Siberia, stealing their resources, and sending them to fight their wars...

As a Dutch man, I consider Russia more reliable than the US.
