Great video, packs a lot of ideas in a short period.

the interviews in the beginning struck a chord. I do play a lot of video games, probably more than I should, and at times I really do feel like I don't really fit to the society around me, but I have come to understand it is a chicken and the egg thing. I play a lot of video games BECAUSE i dont understand the world around me, or at least fail to reconcile with it, not the other way around, where one could say I don't understand it because i have my nose glued to a monitor, which is the tone I got out of that first part. I can make anyone smile, have a vibrant personality, am not bothered by interactions at work with either coworkers or customers, but there is such a disconnect between that and social life, and I just dont get this whole tik-tok social media influencer lifestyle that everyone is trying to emulate because I see so much filth and grime and evil in it every time its presented to me. I do see the good parts, but so much of it is dominated by the bad that it just forces me into my shell even more. It even manifests itself such that I mostly play single player games because I can't stand online game communities. I just hope we are at an inflection pointwhere we see the damage to society and acknowledge it and figure out how to do it better or reject it altogether, or go the other way.............

Take a bow Herr Heller, that was a superb piece of filmmaking, from the excellent VFX through to the music, editing and set locations, this was a mini masterpiece, bravo.

Reminds me of a dark episode of Black Mirror, where they simulated an adapting horror game, with a similar outcome. Very well done. Wouldn't be surprised if something like this happened sometime soon. I heard recently that there's a place over in America where they have loads of people living in a constant VR World. Crazy.

Wow, we already have drone pilots that shoot real missiles from a remote location. This is just a small step away if we keep allowing the military industrial complex to make foreign policy.

Think it's more of a comment on war. How both sides dehumanize each other to the point where people no longer see each other as people, but just targets.

Did you know that there is a 12 Step program for people who are addicted to playing video games. It can make their lives unmanageable - staying up all night playing online and not being able to make it to work on time or show up period.

He talks about wanting it to be ultra-real and they're all floating around like they're in zero-gravity. Makes me wonder if the whole thing was VR and we never saw anything real.

I found the story line incomprehensible. Seems to me that writers/directors here have lost their ability to communicate to the general audience. Kind of like high school students who are lost in their own fantasies.

Not happy with the resolution, or lack of it... So many of these shorts have this problem... i don't know if they think they are being clever or edgy by doing that but i prefer a decent 'ending'. I resolution or at least and explanation if there is a legitimate reason not to have a resolution.

There was an old Robin Williams Movie called Toys. There were kids playing the games which were in control of tanks, robots etc..and the generals were the people giving the mission orders. kids thought it was fun, generals accomplished their missions.

It would have to be only the ranked matches. Otherwise they would just be wasting alot of expensive robots.

I ate how people have the ideas and resources to make these short movies but some Concepts or ideas fall short because of lack of explanation the whole time I kept thinking why does a nose ring make you go into VR and why would you float
