I have had a few shops that went nowhere. I now have a new one but it says it was established in 2013 ( which was the date of my first shop) Is this unusual and is there any way to get Etsy to change that. I am loving all the videos Dylan!

I have had my shop for a month and a half and no sales. The etsy consultant is telling us to only put one thing on a day? Is that good advice?

The idea of choosing audience over niche is super logical and makes things so easy. Rather than completely imagining an ideal customer for our selected niche, starting with a well defined profitable customer makes market research so much easier. Thank you for this much needed lesson.

I watched many videos about Etsy shop but even there must of them give you many advice but they don’t show if they have a Etsy Shop.

What does the new shop mean ? Like just new account ?

The problem I have is other sellers selling the same digital items that I have, that were once selling for 4.99 for one item, are now being sold for as low as 2.99 for 300 to 500 bundles of the same item. A lot of them are not creating the items themselves. They are paying people to create them with AI and are able to list them fast. Etsy is flooded with them now. I'm 72 years old, and I was really having fun supplementing my SS. My shop was doing pretty good until this started happening. Now, I only get a few trickles of sales. I had 193 people come to my shop, but only had 5 sales, a lot of Favs though. I love creating something from my imagination, but it takes time and making sure things are right using my software programs. But the way they are doing it now, I can't keep up, and I can feel my motivation shrinking down.

Good sugestions! I’ve actually heard of people with successful shops making their first few sales after 6 months of openning. I think it depends what you are selling and the amount of time and effort you put into it. I wouldn’t be so radical about this

How do we know what customers like and want in a product?

Hello Dylan, I'm a new Etsy seller. What is the common reason why I only get a lot of favorite and cart item notification from buyers. What prevents them from checking out their order? I tried to send them a voucher code, but it didn't get draw their attention.
