Denys, with all due respect to you and Ukraine of course, sometimes I feel that you and other military bloggers are simply out of this planet. First of all, EU cannot support you non stop so you can have all weapons needed, this is not how this game is played.

Secondly, it's naive to think that any EU country should place its own soldiers to protect Ukraine. EU countries do not owe you a dime. In fact, we are supporting you enough so you can go to this negotiation table and do a decent deal. It's called diplomatics. Europe suffers a lot too by having high levels of inflation already and giving a roof to you and your people. Stop being ungrateful.

I want to hear from you that the Urkainian soldiers are getting paid. We hear a lot about the Rusians, they get promisies at the very least, but what about your soldiers are they and their families being looked after? What's the pay scale like and pensions, or are they expected to fight for pure patriotism. They should be getting exceptional support while on mission, and if they are, it wouldn't be long before the Russian soldiers knew how badly they are being treated in comparison.

It would be interesting to know what could be the possible land swaps in a peace negotiation, assuming UKR does not cede sovereignty of course. It seems they hold 1250 km of Kursk. UKR could swap Kursk for Kherson up to Zaporizhia on a line west of Melitopol, leaving Putin with a rail line along the coast only through Henichesk (sp?). I am curious what are desirable and defensible lines for a ceasefire? After swap of Kursk.
