Sir I din received my 2nd year result and are promoted to Final year of UG . In that case can I apper in 2020 Cat.

Lack of satisfactory job for the engineera which forces them to go for MBA .

Typical Indian parents, and relatives used make bright students take Engineering fields.
So engineering fields are crowded with intelligent and smart minds that is reflecting in the IIM's batch despite weightage given to academic diversity!

Har ghar mein engineer!

Because engineering jobs are very less and the technical work which is happening in most of the companies is not that of a fundamental level. Most of the companies are making engineers do the work of supporting the existing systems rather than the creation of solid fundamental products .

For me its dilemma which city to prefer as test center as I am currently in my hometown(Nagpur) and if by chance the institute calls back to the campus(Ahmedabad) then it will be very hard to travel back to hometown for
giving the test as in the same period there are also end-sem exams.

I think engineers come to terms with their job opportunities right after they graduate from college whereas people from Science understand this much later in life sometimes after masters or a Ph.D. That's why I think more engineers tend to opt for it and that too much sooner than later. commerce students decrease could be explained by an increase in job opportunities for CA and CFA. This increase amongst CA JOB opportunities could be explained by gov. reforms like GST.

Engineer = High Population
