Superb, thank you for your skill and hard work.
ОтветитьIt’s Horrible to see your home, people destroyed by WAR 😳😢😬
Ответитьvery immersive
ОтветитьLike looking through a time machine
Ответить"My grandfather...."
ОтветитьMy mom told me about our family heritage involved in this war. I haven't done any geology into this yet. This is amazing clarity I feel like I'm sitting with them. "Thou shall never grow old" is the only other film that comes close to this. Wow! I'm blown away how well you were able to filter out all the imperfections and to sound is awesome as well! Thank you for preserving this heritage for future generations to learn from! The 11th month... of the 11th day... on the 11th hour... Les we forget...
ОтветитьIt is so much better in color --- in B&W it seems far away and mythical.
ОтветитьCrazy how we send our young men, our future, to go fight and die for the squabbles of old men. The day war ends is the day the leaders are forced to fight their own wars. I know it's not as simple as that but it makes me sick we send these young guys to slaughter to see who wins the argument.
ОтветитьCool footage. Not sure where they got the sound from, but it kinda works
ОтветитьIt’s hard to believe more than a hundred years after the War to end all Wars, twenty years into the twentieth century we still kill each other on a mass scale in order to resolve our differences! Silly humans
ОтветитьThe war will be over by Christmas ! came the shout from the top Brass ! How wrong they were. So much sacrifice, pain, and many of them not long out of school. Lest we forget.😪
ОтветитьSo sad that in 100 years all we've seemed to master is how to kill each other more effectively and farther away...
ОтветитьLike how your shitty sound track has birds through out. Would have been better without that shitty sound
ОтветитьCan you imagine million’s going to fight and die for nothing? Well it’s not your imagination. It really happened.
ОтветитьI fear we are not that far away from this again
ОтветитьIts good quality, but it seems like the scenes containing the 'war' part of WWI is missing in this footage...unless the conflict was mostly just guys walking around, eating & playing cards 🤷
ОтветитьSlow it to .75 and the timing is almost perfect.
ОтветитьThousands of horses were used for transport in WW II, especially by the German Army. The Russians still maintained a cavalry/lancers even though it became somewhat obsolete even in WW I against machine guns, cannon and mortars, etc. Mechanized vehicles in
WW I were more prone to break downs and would get stuck in the mud. Horses, donkeys and mules were literally the saving grace of the army on the front lines. Lest we never forget the sacrifice or service of these brave, gentle creatures.
My grandfather served in the RFC as an air man/aviation mechanic. He lived to be 90. I also had a great uncle (his brother-in-law) that served in the RAC. He was the victim of a direct hit at Verdun or the Somme. There was an eyewitness to his death. My grandmother wore a broche that contained his photograph and a lock of his hair. She loved her brother very much. May he rest in peace, along with all the other brave men that never returned home. Lest we never forget their sacrifice.
ОтветитьThe sound has been added it seems. it would be better to just play without it if it has
ОтветитьIs the audio also authentic from the recordings?
ОтветитьImagine going to war and not having Creedence Clearwater in the background, these people truly fought hell on earth
Ответитьsomething kind of sad about the most advanced technology in the videos always being the weapons.
ОтветитьJust awesome this is; actual footage of this war.
ОтветитьColorized pictures seem to be even more unreal. Great work, though.
ОтветитьLove the home made sound effects
ОтветитьBest conversation I've ever seen, congratulations. Please consider not using what sounds like rain forest bird sounds. My guess is that birds were chirping during a barrage.
ОтветитьI always feel for the poor animals
ОтветитьBirds chirping while men are killing each other.
Ответитьso cool! i love this old footage
ОтветитьI feels surreal watching this. I'm so used to seeing the battles of this war that seeing relative calm and normalcy feels alien. The men firing artillery, the sound of gunfire and shells flying over and exploding made it feel normal. Says alot about how war is viewed really.
ОтветитьА всего то, прошло 110 лет!))) 😂
ОтветитьVERY REALISTIC. LOVE THE SOUND TOO!!!!
ОтветитьAmazing work. It is sobering for me to remember veterans of that war, and even some veterans of the Spanish-American War, were around when I was a kid.
So many lives sacrificed, and what have we learned?
En aquel tiempo no había sonido, pero está bien la mezcla de audio ....
ОтветитьDoubt there was bird song in 4 years in that day.
ОтветитьWat the front u taking about
ОтветитьThe sound is REALLY annoying and fake. Stunning footage though.
ОтветитьThe Somme! The British were so bold and very brave. The odds were so overwhelming.
ОтветитьAnybody else trying to claim all the credit for WW1 and 2 here?
ОтветитьI'm laughing at the fake birds chirping while cannons are shooting..lol
ОтветитьHumanity is ridiculous at this point. The masses just comply to the same old 👉🏽💩🕺🏿🌈🙉📺🐑🐑🐑🧟♂️🪣💩👀
Ответитьwhen they add colour to this stuff, it does not make it look and feel like it was sooo long ago. It could have been a war in the 1980s or even 1990s if you did not know better. if they do this with dubbed in voices of the soldiers and do it and the colouring so perfect that it looks like it was just filmed, that would be freaky
