I would use it to make a time lapse around a statue (just like in House Of Cards intro) but I think the lowest speed is to high for that...what else similar would you recommend?

Can you memorize the movements so that you don't need to manually change directions?

When you have such shitty camera that produces soap like 2008 year video - dolly wont help you

It is a great bit of kit. Just bought one on the strength of your review and I am sure it will be put to good use. Also getting a slider to go with it as I think that will really make it useful for outside work.

Question, Do you know how to pair a new remote to this? I lost mine and got a 2nd remote but cant seem to get them to communicate.

Elsewhere I've read some comments where people complain a little inexpensive device like this won't handle their equipment so it's no good. Then I look up the equipment they are using and it's $7,000 worth of gear. If you can afford that, you can afford a real $1000 tracking dolly. Some folks had their dolly come off the tracks and damage the camera. Well, same answer, and they were using it overhead and didn't think to maybe tether the camera or put extra guides on the dolly to track on the underside of the rails too. SMH.

How you fixed that two pols, can you give more specification of rails that you use as slider, also have to tried any time lapse with this dolly.

Great small and compatible..but take a wood plank with you!! Works great on smooth surfaces, mainly indoors.. outdoor.. when you travel..hmm you need to carry a plank..
