How to convert an excel file to a XML file using Data Transformation and PowerCenter KB

Without data transformation studio is there any way around to convert excel/csv/flat file to XML target ?

what if one excel file do not have all columns(if any intermediate columns are not available)

I have source has .XLS file with 3 sections in it .So can i generate 3 XML files from my source by using DT Studion.Any kind of help was really appreciated.Thanks in Advance
