Unbelievable: Woman's Music Aids Brain Surgery!

The music helped in an unexpected way…

At king’s college, doctor’s were extracting a brain tumor from a woman who had dedicated her life to the violin, spending all of her free time performing and creating music. And when extracting tumors, there is inherent risk of damaging the brain.

So the woman played the violin during the surgery so that the doctor’s could make sure they were not permanently damage her motor skills so that she could continue to play the violin.

The surgery succeeded! To this day, the woman continues to play the violin.
