This is one of the franchise’s most iconic games. Arguably even more so than Resident Evil 4, yet that has a remake and this one doesn’t? Makes zero sense. We need this to be official.

Wow this looks great! I really think they should do an official RE1 remake. Gameplay should start in the forests of Arklay and the whole dogs chase should be a playable first chapter 😀

I don't know what's more pathetic:
the UE5 "demo" kids who just rip assets, or the OTS zoomers who only care about shooting and running.

Wow, this is amazing! Well done, this looks like a very promising game. The only contention I have is that the model animations in places look a bit stiff (like Jill walking around). But other than that, this remake really looks like a high quality, enjoyable and nostalgic game!

Cant see myself playing RE remake with the remake 3 version that was one of the most terrible versions of any character in the entire franchise. Its too late to even salvage anything related to remake 3 so that's the first thing. Its like if they remade 6 and Sherry started cursing out Jake every 5 minutes and had a case of brick face. The next thing that gets my eye is the pacing, There is a reason why they kept the tank controls while this game was released onside of re4 being developed. So good luck in either case.

Not getting hyped just yet about this until I no its official because there is a lot of click bait about I mean look at code Veronica nothing even mentioned about that anymore

As a Resident Evil fan and more particulary for the very first ones on PS1, I say no to this "Remake", for the simple reason, too close of the Remake "Rebirth" so there's no point for me for that kind of remake.

Wesker sounds like a discount Morgan freeman. Backgrounds look great. Character models not so much.

I'd like to see Re1r based on Re2r mechanics 😊🤌 and some new room extensions maybe and Stalker like Mr X from Re2r
