The president was very diplomat and I am sure he said to the interviewer the point of view of China about the matter. Point of view that couldn't be allowed to be heard by US public. Probably he told the interviewer why the tank column bothered to stop in front of that guy since they murdered 15 000 students and burn their corpses... BTW Can you imagine the amount of energy required to burn 15 000 people in one night to the point nothing remains of them? And the amount of dehumanization... Then stop in front of one guy waiving his jacket... People can google the subject now and find out the most probable truth about those events.
